TDL wish list, who, what, how many?

Aside from a Markstrom or Saros trade which I know is not going to happen, I would be targeting the Seattle Kraken because they have everything this team needs.

They have the PK forward I want in Wennberg.

The depth scorer I want in Eberle.

And the top 4 D that I want in either Olesiak or Larsson.

They have everything we need.

Eberle is actually a decent playoff performer. Had some good runs with those Islanders teams.

Who knows if It's true but I did read on The Fourth Period's website a couple weeks back that Treliving is interested in Eberle and I think that's a solid addition

How about also Minten for Tanev. Would this push us over the top.
I know cap etc, but the issue is are we only 2 players away?

If Pittsburgh ever decided to trade Crosby, I think it would cost a whole lot more than Cowan and a draft choice.

Stamkos would be another example of Leafs acquiring a player who's Best Before date was here... .you think Tavares has struggled....

This team needs a partner for Rielly.... we've only been saying that for what... 5, 6 years?

Would you take Schiffle and Connor from Winterpeg for Cowan and Minten?, then get Hanifin for a first?

Are we close enough for the risk?

Winterpeg aren't sellers, and wouldn't do that trade, it's not enough. We don't need a Hanifin.

Stamkos isn't high quality anymore.... he's still good offensively, but terrible defensively now. He's basically a liability. Malkin is the same. Crosby's good, but let's be realistic... nobody you've mentioned, except maybe Hanifin are even available.

But is a couple of good aging vets enough to put us on Yonge Street in June.
Bathgate and McKenny did, at the price of some very good young talent, Brown Seiling, Duff and Nevin.

Lots of right shot D available after this season so if we cant acquire one of them for cheap at the deadline, I would wait it out as this team will require cheap players over the next 2 season and this doesn't feel like the year you go all in.
Save the assets for next years deadline when you know you have JT and possibly Marner coming off the books and you will have caproom

more i think about it and more Dumba ciuld make sense for leafs.

hes not as hot than what he was like 5 year ago but he still a d whos able to eat a lot of minutes. Between 2018 to last post-season, the only time Dumba was not team leader for time of ice at 5v5 was last season( it was brodin and dumba was #2)

he never put his team in trouble, hes physical, hecan play in a top 4 over 25 mintes/ game... his price will not be extremely high

do you really want a parayko at 6.5M until 37, for a guy who will maybe struggle as much than a brodie when he will reach 33, 34?
