He first came over in the Dan Boyle trade iirc.
I completely forgot about that, good memory. He played a handful of games before we dealt him for Downie

David Carle, not Matt.
David Carles heart issue was found during NHL draft exams and he basically had his dreams dashed right there. He was friends with Oren's kid and they played at Shattuck iirc, but Oren & Co used the last pick they had in the draft to pick him to fulfill his dream of being drafted. Denver was expecting him to go there as a commit and play (George Gwozdecky was the coach at the time) and they honored his scholarship, as well as pushed him into the coaching staff as long as he was a student.I had no idea we were associated with D Carle in any way

DC did a few years in Denver, took over the Green Bay Gamblers for a couple years, then came back to Denver under Jim Montgomery, and then took over as head coach.
And the great Steve EmingerI completely forgot about that, good memory. He played a handful of games before we dealt him for Downie
Not to make us both feel f***in' old, but uh... that was like 18 years ago now.Completely forgot about that
Submitting for extra creditHe doesnt know, guys.
Its okay Mr. Baby. When you decide to mock Stammerclown University's lectures and act like you can gain a high level education elsewhere, this is what happens. The Clown Commission Board would like to inform you that David Carle, brother of Matt (yes, that one), had a heart condition and the Lightning organization drafted him in the 7th round. The story is on your Google machine if you so kindly wish to pursue furthering your knowledge.
Consider yourself clowned on.

Good day.
That is a fantastic story. I'm a little surprised he hasn't jumped onto our staff yetDavid Carles heart issue was found during NHL draft exams and he basically had his dreams dashed right there. DC did a few years in Denver, took over the Green Bay Gamblers for a couple years, then came back to Denver under Jim Montgomery, and then took over as head coach. Kind of a crazy path, involved with Oren, becomes a bolt (kinda), goes to coach with Gwoz who later becomes a bolts coach, takes over Green Bay where Coop won a couple of USHL titles, and then goes back to Denver a few years until he takes the reins.
I like you less than I did about 45 seconds ago. Hurts so bad bro...... my back tooNot to make us both feel f***in' old, but uh... that was like 18 years ago now.
I just tell myself i'm getting better and better, like wine. Now i'm gonna go ice my knee.I like you less than I did about 45 seconds ago. Hurts so bad bro...... my back too
Anders Lolback. Man, was he hated on hereSubmitting for extra credit
Last Lightning pick (203rd) while Anders Lindback was still on the board (went 3 picks later to the Preds).
So hell yes he owes us a solid. Had we started the Lindback experiment sooner, his ceremonial drafting wouldn’t have happened

Turns out you can't always count An-ders.Anders Lolback. Man, was he hated on here![]()
an lowly LindbackTurns out you can't always count An-ders.
Almost has a touch of destiny to it, doesn’t it?Kind of a crazy path, involved with Oren, becomes a bolt (kinda), goes to coach with Gwoz who later becomes a bolts coach, takes over Green Bay where Coop won a couple of USHL titles, and then goes back to Denver a few years until he takes the reins.
Its very storybook, no doubt.Almost has a touch of destiny to it, doesn’t it?
That got us the 3rd pick In the 2013 draft = drouin lolBrian Lee, Keith Aulie and Lindback was an era of Lightning hockey..

Which got us sergy and then got us geekie and moser .That got us the 3rd pick In the 2013 draft = drouin lol![]()
What if we use geekie as part of a package to trade for Larkin that’s from the drouin tree lolThat Drouin pick keeps paying dividends for us despite him being a flop. Thanks to Bergevin being an idiot.

For what it’s worth - Jason Bukala (and The Pro Hockey Group) has been my go-to for 5 years now. I value him and that group so much, that I have completely overlooked (and forgiven) the multiple years he spent in the Turds organization as their Dir. of Amateur Scouting.Scout's Analysis: The top 32 prospects not yet in the NHL
Saw this link in the Larkin thread on the trade board. Don’t know how well respected the guy is, but it’s his top 32 nhl prospects yet to play in the nhl - posted in early April.
Clicked it curious to see if and where SOR was, but didn’t expect to see Pridham at 18th
