Frustrating for sure but the deadline is exactly 1 week away and a Boeser and Schenn will both be gone plus we have a tough schedule coming up so I’m not worried too much .

I still expect a top 7 pick

Our schedule is one of the easiest in the league. Also Boeser is on team tank and Schenn didn't even play on this road trip and we won without him.

No idea how people can be getting upset when the team wins on the backs of guys like Pettersson and Kuzmenko. The real tank mission was getting Benning fired. Getting worked up because the team's elite younger players tie and win the game is pretty silly, in all honesty.

I understand Bedard is good, and it would be nice if the chips fell to the Canucks, but unless the Canucks fall out of the bottom 10 there's not much to be disappointed about in terms of having a chance to draft him.

*spits into spIttoon*

Must not be frum 'round 'ere.

LOL.... you need to get out more. If you think Vancouver is expensive, try living in New York, Chicago, LA, Miami, etc.

Median rent for a 1bdrm apt Chicago: $1700US
Median rent for a 1bdrm apt in Miami: $1621US
Median rent for a 1bdrm apt in Vancouver: $2600CAN ($1900US)

Median household income in Chicago: $65KUS
Median household income in Miami: $50KUS
Median household income in Vancouver: $72KCAN ($52KUS)

Chicago and Miami are significantly more affordable than Vancouver, especially Chicago. Correct about New York, LA, and SF though.

It’s two games , you have a point but it’s a small sample so I’m not going to panic.

When I see Boeser will be gone it mean less offensive production and eventually the top
Players will get tired look at the Flyers they have definitely faded lately and I can’t see us pulling off all of these incredible comebacks for an extended period of time

Chicago is affordable because you dont even want to walk out after dark for 50% of the city, garfield park, ...the whole south. pretty sure the north part where you want to stay is more than the $1700, Miami is affordable. but Florida.....its nice, but you have to deal with Floridians....

Van is a very expensive city. When you factor in the effective tax rate, the cost to purchase a home and the general cost of living in Canada, it is definitely up there. More expensive than Chi, or Miami and most of LA. More expensive than many parts of NYC - Queens, Bronx or Staten Island and on par with Brooklyn and parts of Manhattan. SF, though... yeesh.

I'd rather live in Calgary than anywhere in the country of the world police.

I think JR/Alvin really needs to call up Martin again the other tanking teams GMs are actively trying to make their team worse as the deadline nears. Silvos can help lead the baby canucks to the calder cup or something.

Quickly make another trade. No f in bs.

St.Louis got rid of Tarasenko and o Reilly.
Wth are we waiting for ? The very very last second ? Wth Alvin.

Yay the Vancouver Canucks won an irrelevant game in a lost season against a team that looks like it actively wants to bottom out to get a top 5-7 pick.

They are also crushing Abbotsford as Martin is struggling down there as well. Might as well send Silovs down to play the bulk of the games & get some playoff games in.

I hope I am wrong but I feel like the TDL nothing will happen & the old "we ran out of time" line will be used

Vancouver is among one of the most expensive cities in North America.

Nice of Montreal to win last night, though if wishes were fishes it would have been a three point game.

Really need a solid 0-4 run here to take us to the trade deadline. Trade who can be traded. Bottom out as much as possible after that. Unfortunately not expecting anything major though - Horvat was The Move.

That was Benning. Move on.

This regime has been extremely active this year.

Anyways, it's just a weird 'hope I'm wrong' scenario. You will be.

Lost a close one goal game to the best team in the league. This is looking like a disaster now with how bad philly/blues look. Im praying to god for a season ending Pettersson/Hughes injury and Spencer Martin back up here.

Any night when the Cnaucks lose is a good tank night, but, after Anaheim and Columbus both scored surprise regulation wins, it'd sure be fine if San Jose and Chicago go beyond regulation.

There are limits.

I do hope to shut down Demko and demote Silovs though.

Chicago benching Kane now. Maybe a trades in place. Maybe he’s hurting their tank. Who knows.
