Honestly I’ll settle for top 6, no chance we’re hitting bottom 3. As shaky as Demko’s been this year, he’s gunna have a couple of those games where he steals em
 
There’s 29 games left and as great it is the teams around us winning, it won’t look like that 20 games from now. It’s probably going to come down to our last 5 games where we have an idea how things fall.

I think it’s nice to have something to hold onto but some people are setting themselves up for disappointment. We probably finish 8-10

So it turns out that consistently having sub NHL goaltending is really good for tanking. Sign Chris Levesque in case Delia gets hurt!

Graves score with 1 second left to prevent Columbus from going to ot and potentially 2 points cause we still want Columbus to get points.
 
NYI are bad this year and may be even worse next year.

Imagine if the pick slides to next year and the Canucks get the 1st overall.

We've seen them mess it up on multiple occasions, the one standing out to me was not moving Hamhuis and going on a winning Cali road trip that cost us the Matthews pick.

There are a lot of high leverage games:


Those 12 bottom-feeder games could cause some big time shuffling of standings spots. Feel like at least when you're playing a bottom feeder there is zero motivation to be a "spoiler" like when playing playoff hopeful teams.

Man getting Fantilli or Carlsson as a consolation prize for losing the Bedard sweepstakes would be amazing. They really need to finish in the bottom four, ideally bottom 3 but that's going to be tough. Not as sold on Michkov because he's a winger and signed in Russian through 25/26.

All that said, the odds of dropping one slot or even two are really high at the top of the draft.

Yah meanwhile we are in purgatory. Our front office should be weaponizing cap space. Move out BB6 , Garland for any pick then use that cap space to trade for bad expiring contracts like Lucic for a 1st.

I ono man.... Columbus has Gudbranson as their top pairing dman. Ice time is like 23 minutes per game. That's true tank desperation.
