Excellent game. What else can you say. Keep building on it. Get pinto in there. Norris when he’s ready and wow that is one solid group.

I'm the in the trade Kubalik camp. He hasn't been around long enough to be considered part of the vibes and what he's shown so far (albeit in a small sample size) can be replaced.

He won't be missed at all if he's moved.
Won't say he wouldn't be missed but so far he is looking like the most replaceable player of the three

Brady Tkachuk is an unstoppable force

No way he doesn't score 40+ this season

Bring in Norris and Pinto, trade Kubalik

I wonder if this would work

Tkachuk - Stutzle - Giroux
Norris - Pinto - Batherson
Joseph - Greig - Tarasenko

I agree. He doesn't bring enough hustle or grit for the low amount of offensive talent he has. He's a good 3rd line winger though but that's not what we need most right now.

Kubalik has a great shot, he needs PP time to be a weapon but seriously, we have way too many players who need PP.

Stutzle-Tkachuk-Batherson-Norris-Giroux-Tarasenko-Sanderson-Chychrun-Chabot and even Pinto, Greig and Brannstrom, that's already 12 guys

He's not particularly good defensively or that useful at ES, he's a good secondary scorer for a team that doesn't have that many scoring options but we do. Greig, Pinto and Joseph are our 7th, 8th and 9th best forwards... Plus, let's not forget Smejakl and Jarventie in Belleville

With the way Joseph is playing right now, I don't disagree. Even if he doesn't keep scoring at this pace, but just be a decent semi-consistent secondary scorer and good energy/penalty killer, then his contract will be worth it once past this current cap crunch.

I haven't seen much from Kubalik, and haven't gained much connection to him. Plus he should be a player that would actually bring an asset back. I don't want to hear anything about the fact that he was a principle piece of the Debrincat trade. Get a decent asset for him, but do it quick, sign Pinto and make the friggin' playoffs.

Yeah we don't care about Dorion failed moves, we care about icing the best team we could and Pinto is way more important than Kubalik for the Sens future

A few thoughts.

I did miss the 1st.

But all in all a very well played game. I thought last game they looked sloppy, but cleaned that up a lot. I was really impressed with the Tarasenko-greig-Joseph line. They looked really solid and were incredibly hard working. I noticed Chartier a lot, again, solid defensively and really working hard along the boards.

Sanderson... He's great. A solid #1 D. Chabot still looks shaky at times, but I do think he looked better than the last game. Otherwise D played well.

Korpisalov, initially I was nervous about. He looked like he was over playing and slightly out of position a lot. But he was great in the 3rd and really settled out.

Keep it up Sens!!! This is how we win. Woo

Sick win, Ottawa really needs to make hay when playing at home. Adding Norris and Pinto to the mix makes this team pure beasts.

Tkachuk, Tarasenko, Greig, Joseph, and Sanderson were excellent.

Nice to be able to finally cheer for what looks to be a playoff bound team. Korpi and Forsberg are a solid tandem.
