That was the line in game 1 and they couldnt finish. Joseph Grieg Tarasenko has been the teams best line. Keep them together.

It's not a bad comparison.

Not the Kadri who put up 87 points in 71 games that Calgary overpaid badly, but over his career he's been a 55P/82GP player, and while that may be a little optimistic but it's not out of the realm of possibility for Greig.

I thought of suggesting Tucker but could not do so as Tucker was too much to stomach. Gilmour is an interesting suggestion; however, Gilmour was a better offensive player than I think Greig will be.

He isn't as flamboyant as Tucker but I can see him being a pain in the ass while scoring some clutch goals.

Gilmore took a while to find his footing in the NHL before his scoring really took off. It was interesting looking at his career stats. Greig might not end up on the high end (that scoring era was pretty wild too) but he has that fire in the belly Gilmore had.

Big fan and excited to see where his career goes but he will be a fan favourite, for sure.

I like Peca. Peca could really hit hard for his size . I think we see more physicality from Greig as he gets older/stronger
Peca was a very good 2 way player with a similar build.

Peca was great for a lot of yrs until injuries started slowing his career down, Pageau was a Peca lite type of player, very good defensively that also added some offence. I like that comparison for Greig too, Greig is going to be another very good young player for this team.

I really like the IQ he has shown so far. I like his character. He can skate and he has skill. So far so good on his performance this year.
