Daze came up in an era where he wasn't encouraged to take the risks offensively that Thompson is taking right now. I always thought he would have been a stud either ten years earlier or ten years later.

Tage is a present star, kids going to be a great deal better as he gets more experience...Not Sabres fan however I collect hockey jersey's and I am eyeing a Tage jersey at the moment...

I do like the Daze comparison, that said it seems to me that Tage is a significantly better skater than Eric was. Daze had huge potential but I see Tage's ceiling as much higher.

I one again cannot overstate how much of a joke it is USA hockey won’t be able to have guys like Tage, Matthews, Robertson, Tkachuks, Hughes, Eichel, Gaudreau all play together in a tournament.
