I think Bias will mostly exist when comparing to other players. Even with my name, I can sit back and say Tage had a bad game...or week. If you ask me if Tage is better than Matthews, that's when bias seeps in.

That's why I prefer Panarin (at least so far), who doesn't score a bunch of hatties but scores a point or two in every game. And Rangers have 5 more points than Toronto...

Panarin is fantastic when he’s interested.

Asked from Fox, I think a lot of their team is streaky over the course of the season.

Tage is a big man and they take a bit to warm up but he is gearing up no worries there

He seems fully healed to me. He hasn’t looked hindered physically, and he just had a 99 MPH shot last game.

Most of his issues this year are due to the entire team being disjointed and decision making (when to shoot, dangle or pass).

Just ran into Tage's mom at Ralph's, she said she considers him a top-10 center, especially now that he's going again.

He still needs work at 5 v 5, but I've noticed him playing smarter over the course of this early season.

Him and Greenway have to be one of the best PK duos in the league, though. Their reach is unfair, and teams really struggle to get anything going against them. That's a nice part of his game to see progressing.

Every team in the league would take him right now no questions asked outside of cap concerns. I say this as a non-Sabres fan. His ability didn't leak out of him over the summer at his age.

Then in case this is your first revisit, the guy has been on a 40-50 goal pace for the last 2 seasons, and is again this year despite a low shooting %. The only people not impressed are the ones who turned their tv's on for the first time on Oct, 12, 2023, and turned them off for good on October, 23, 2023. In civilized countries, we call it a slump, and move on with our lives.

If it makes you feel better our 1C candidate, Koko Miami, only had 3 points in his first 20 games last season. He has 12 in 13 games this season and should have a handful more too.

I think he still commits a decent amount of bad turnovers to be considered for selke at even strength but he's definitely been great in his own zone this season especially on the PK unit.
