Has there been any word on his injury tonight? Screaming as he is going down the tunnel and never seen again worries me for next year. Hope it wasn't as serious as it looked.

Seemed like he and Zub came together and then he went off. Granato said he's not playing tonight so his quest for 50 goals which is probably why he played last night is done.

Is it really that unbelievable that Tage came into St. Louis a bit arrogant? He was a 1st round pick, and I imagine a LOT of them are entitled little shits before they get humbled.

Tage got humbled and roared back.

I don't think Berglund is lying. It's not hard for me to think that Tage WAS an entitled, arrogant asshole at 19/20. He changed.

I don't really see an issue here at all.

He was irrelevant so doesn't really care how he left but the fact is you're a quitter and wife beater but you feel entitled to shit on a guy who over came adversity and is now thriving and never quit on the team?

I do agree most young 1st rounds come into the league act like there shit don't stick but its hard to take a guy seriously with terrible history like Berglund

If you listen to the soundbite, it really isn't anything to read into. Berglund is just saying the guy was confident and came in with a bit of an ego. Good. I want my guys to think they are good players. Then, when they get knocked down (which happened to Tage twice in his young career), I want those same guys to work hard and overcome it.

Tage did.

Berglund even had the expression in his voice that there were no hard feelings, and was impressed with Tage now. Nothing to get worked up on IMO

No ill will here, either.

He didn't want to be here. His agent fooked up. He walked away from millions because it meant that much to him. Got to respect him for that, at least.

Better than sucking it up and taking the money, giving a half-assed effort, then running. Like quite a few players we've seen over the past decade.

Patrik Berglund was in my opinion, the biggest joke to dawn a Sabres sweater in the tank years… more so than Leino. He embodied the franchises failures. I don’t think he tried for a second after he got here. Even some of the AHL players we iced actually cared half the time.

I don’t blame him for wanting and getting out though.
