I hate goalie debates. I ripped Marty, Cory, DANIS IN HIS TWO GAMES, Idc what scrub or legend is in.

He was off his angle. He is often out of position, or slow to read plays, or horrible rebounds. Mac is athletically gifted, and can stop initial pucks, but his technical side is atrocious which leads to garbage like tonight.

We could definitely use more shots still. I feel like compared to early season we dont utilize the point shot nearly as much and we dont get to second opportunies. In general we dont get to the net enough which is something this team should definitely do more of since were lacking great finishers. Get some greasy goals like Shara GWG last game.

But it is Blackwood's fault this team is so mentally fragile.

There's a huge difference in how the played earlier in the season with Vtec making saves - they were flying all game.

Confidence starts between the pipes.

You can't win many games when you score 1 or 2 goals nowadays. Like we have been struggling to score goals really really bad over this stretch. There's not many goalies that can will them to victory. The losses aren't primarily on the goalies but they aren't really putting together top notch performances to steal us the occasional game. I don't care about that Panthers win. It was nice to get a W but we beat a mediocre somewhat struggling team. The injuries are starting to pile here so it's understandable if we struggle defensivley. Really no excuse to be not scoring though. We were one of the better offensive teams this year but it's looking like we will flatten out to average if this keeps up. We still don't have high end goal scorers. Hughes , Bratt , Nico , Sharangovich and Hamilton score more than the average but guys like Tatar , Mercer , Haula , Sharangovich (this season) , Zetterlund ate starting to drag us down. The depth isn't really puillng there weight on the scoresheet. This team has some forwards in the system but a trade for a player like Meier is needed big time. We can try to develop Holtz but he has been invisible at the NHL level. I'm really disappointed with his development this year but Ruff has him in the doghouse so he is getting his confidence killed. Don't wanna move him in package but we might need to part with our 1st and one of our better prospects and go get Meier.

I really don’t get what we are doing w holtz ? He isn’t a 4 th line player. He is useless in this role. He either goes w someone that can get the puck to him or send him down and bring up a physical winger for 4 th line

He made the time with a nice move, it’s the goalies responsibility to be square to the shooter. Blackwood was easily in position to do so. Let the d man take the guy who is in front of the net.

If I’m a shooter, I am salivating at blackwoods positioning there.
