I feel like we had enough chances to take the lead /tie the game. They are finishing their chances, Devils arent. Bruins have made mistakes so have the Devils.
Their goalie made the saves when they mattered. Our goalie didnt.
But as a team I feel like Devils get deflated much quicker than other teams. Hopefully games like these teach em how to be mentally tougher dunno

And just look at the amount of net Pasta has to shoot at. He’s not missing once he’s got things configured like this. Blackwood needs to be out challenging this. He did it a couple times nicely in the first period but by this time in the game he’s shell shocked.

I agree, but you just never know where the game goes if one of Nico, Wood, Tatar scores on their chances when the game was tied. You really cant keep missing chances like that if you want to win in this league. Especially with how our special teams have been lately.

Yea. At the same time if Blackwood makes a f***ing save it is probably 1-1 and still a game. They responded well after the first, the second just sunk them. They other team is good, they are going to stop chances.

The Bruins having a very good legit NHL goalie + us icing two rookies on the back end with an AHL level goaltender in net = 4-1 deficit even though the devils are playing an overall decent game.

In slow-mo that 2nd goal on Blackwood is so horrible

Any normal goalie with a brain wouldve just paddled the puck out of the crease. Our Hero in net needed again the extra 0.5sec to locate the puck and understand what was happening.

So glad we are not too invested into this season. We can forget making a playoff push if we have Vitek/Blackwood as our starting goalie. Fitz has had the goalie issue in his lap for years, he needs to resolve it somehow.

Thank got Vitek is in the net for 3rd. Kinda hoping he plays like shit too so Fitz really understands that neither of these guys are a long-term solution.

The problem is you simply are not finding the long term solution on the market. Overpaying for FA goalies is incredibly stupid. They are so fickle. You need to draft your goalie of the future. It's the only way. Every true good goalie gets locked up on their team.
