It’s never good when there’s a debate about whether the goalie had 1 devastating soft goal or 2 after 2 periods. Not giving us a chance to win the game.

I agree, but you just never know where the game goes if one of Nico, Wood, Tatar scores on their chances when the game was tied. You really cant keep missing chances like that if you want to win in this league. Especially with how our special teams have been lately.

I don't get why things always have to be fully one way or the other. It wasn't great defense by Siegs, and it was bad positioning from Mac. As much as I'd love to credit him, Zacha wasn't even in front of Blackwood when the shot happened. Mac's just way too far to his left. But Siegs could've stepped up. They both share blame.

you guys want to blame someone so bad, the truth is it’s on everybody. if you expected blackwood to get a shutout so we beat them 1-0, that’s kind of on you.
this is one of the worst displays of defense i’ve ever seen. that said, it would be nice if blackwood could come up with a big save now and then, like he did in florida. both things are true.

Shit the team didnt score some chances... But its still a f***ing 1-1 game or 1-2 game at most.
Had whole period to settle team down and he just opens up the floodgates. Soft stuff.
Were there breakdowns? Yeah. Did Bos have breakdowns? Yes.. But their goalie made some f***ing saves (and got lucky!)...

Yeah that happens in a game against one of the leagues best scorers. He didn’t have all the time in the world. Just time to pick a spot and shoot it. Fortunately for him, he had a huge ass spot to pick.

They do all the time. It's how the league works in 2022. They just sometimes get stops on shots more difficult than "4 year old with a wooden stick" tier

Could easily be 4-3 them or even tied if our guys could finish. More to it than goaltending and breakdowns.

It is, but we were never winning this game. I don't care who is in net. There is a reason Boston almost never loses. They are better than us, especially when we are down 2 top 4 D.

This is exactly what Cory did in his last couple of season.
Blackwood was done to me after the Noessen goal from behind the net which was extremely reminiscent of when a panther did that to fort in his first game back from injury

Any normal goalie with a brain wouldve just paddled the puck out of the crease. Our Hero in net needed again the extra 0.5sec to locate the puck and understand what was happening.
So glad we are not too invested into this season. We can forget making a playoff push if we have Vitek/Blackwood as our starting goalie. Fitz has had the goalie issue in his lap for years, he needs to resolve it somehow.
Thank got Vitek is in the net for 3rd. Kinda hoping he plays like shit too so Fitz really understands that neither of these guys are a long-term solution.

Boston left Tatar wide open, let Wood have a breakaway, Nico got robbed and Ullmark made those saves or at least got lucky with the post. Stop with the Blackwood is good rhetoric, the dude reeks and has since October 2020.
