I thought Friday was United's demand.
United can’t demand shit.
I thought Friday was United's demand.
Best part is he might very well be third choice if we don't sell Isak Hien or Hjalmar Ekdal this summer
Please sell Ekdal and replace him with that gubbe.
My guess is that Hien goes this summer. But I hope he signs a new deal and goes in the winter instead for a hefty sum. Dutch clubs should be all over him imo
Hasn’t he been pretty bad overall?
For an upgradeJuventus taking the de Ligt money across the city to try to gazump Inter for Bremer
It is not weird, it's fabricated... new goal from Manchester fans have been to make fun at Nunez at every opportunity. It's a bit quite deranged but I guess Nunez is their obsession now that he turned them down for LFC.
Eh maybe. Bremer not great in the air if I remember correctly. For an upgrade
Kinda hope he never makes it on the pitch for all our sake’s.
BVB have apparently changed their mind about Brandt needing to leave.
Every fan base has their version of this cringe. Especially on TikTokJesus....
Shocker.
He is talented when he wants to be...but yeah, kinda. Malen, Adeyemi, Moukoko (if not sold), Bynoe-Gittens, Braaf, Reus, Reyna, is already 7 guys for the 3 spots behind the striker whenever Haller returns to the pitch (or they buy a replacement for him)...and then there's Wolf...
Plus there are the other kids in their academy who could/should start pushing for PT in the near future...and they continue to be linked to the signings of further attacking / creative starlets like Krattenmacher, Milovanovic, Gassama, Gloukh, Alfonso, Güler, etc.; who will be looking for senior team PT sooner or later if they join.
So I am a little surprised that they chose to bring him back into the fold. Haller's diagnosis meaning that one of Malen, Adeyemi, or Moukoko is likely to start up front, makes it more logical...but it is still a little surprising to me.
It's not like Brandt is on some crazy wages that nobody will take on for a player of his caliber, so I'm not sure where your implication that they couldn't have sold him is coming from. Not every club struggles with selling unwanted players as much as Barca does
I think Ragnick has just as much fault as anything else.Ego has nothing with him wanting to leave. I just think he thinks he’s a lot better than he is, probably because of the ludicrous contract he got.
He also got called out multiple times by Ralph because he asked to be left of the lineup only to complain about not being in the squad. I don’t think he’s a bad dude per say, but he’s not someone conducive to a healthy locker room either.
The point was shocking they kept a player that put up those sorts of numbers and is as versatile as he is. Whatever implication to the contrary you think I meant you’re in your own world with. He could use a bit of a fire lit under his ass, but how many of the guys you listed are going to deliver as he has? Few.
I mean RR's tenure from a footballing standpoint was a failure. But from a personnel and culture standpoint it did a lot of good. Again he's a fine player, but I wouldn't want someone like him being a key part of my locker room. Just like I wouldn't want Pogba to be one.I think Ragnick has just as much fault as anything else.
His clown show appointment didn't really help things at all.
Sure he thinks he's better than he is. So does 95% of all of footballers.
Gotcha, my b for putting words in your mouth. I was really puzzled by your comment and it being a snide remark about nobody wanting a player as lazy as Brandt, made the most sense.
As for your point, I'd feel good about betting on at least 3 of Adeyemi, Reus, Reyna, Malen, outproducing Brandt while putting in more effort on the pitch...with Reyna's health being the main reason why I hesitate to say that I expect all 4 to outproduce him.
And I wouldn't exactly be shocked if any of Mouki, Gittens, or Braaf outproduced him this season as well...and not just on a per-minute basis.
Brandt is obviously gifted, but he's so lackadaisical and inconsistent...he's up there with Draxler, Dahoud, Kehrer, and Tah for biggest under-achievers of their generation.
People aren’t exactly writing epics about the strength of Reid’s health either. As for your point, I'd feel good about betting on at least 3 of Adeyemi, Reus, Reyna, Malen, outproducing Brandt while putting in more effort on the pitch...with Reyna's health being the main reason why I hesitate to say that I expect all 4 to outproduce him.
While true…especially of his prime…he’s not coming back from having missed basically the entire season.People aren’t exactly writing epics about the strength of Reid’s health either.
