The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston is incredible. My friend got discounted tickets from the Boston Public Library. Saw amazing art and sculptures and had a few good laughs in the mummy room (the sarcophagus’ are scary as hell especially when one is cracked open).

It’s absolutely gorgeous out too.

Next up is the Gardner Museum

I must've taken like 8 field trips there between elementary school, high school, and college. The MFA has a particularly great impressionist collection, at least the last time I was there.

The Gardner Museum is also pretty cool, it has the gardens in the middle of it. But its appeal is mostly in telling stories about the heist and all that (part of me thinks it was an inside job/false flag to attract more visitors)

Idk if its because he is a cocker spaniel. But he went within 30 seconds after getting the shot. Bronchial pneumonia came fast. Parents think past vets mis-diagnosed him.

Rest in Peace Macaroni. The goodest of boys.

I am so sorry, losing our pets is very hard. RIP Macaroni 🐶

My brother in law finally got covid :( He's ok for the most part thankfully. Just hoping my sister and mom don't get it.

Had to leave my house this weekend due to mice. Packed up the kids at 9pm Saturday night and drove an hour to the lady friends house. The kitchen construction downstairs must have stirred them up. Perhaps the LEAST offensive/disgusting evidence of mice that I found was a hole in the feed line for the dishwasher. Of course I discovered that hole the hard way. I am beyond defeated at this point.

I think it's time to get a professional over there. I'm sure they're going to say to fill the holes in the cellar and trap/bait everywhere upstairs. The big issues with this:

My house is a million years old with a million different additions. The foundation is stone, it's full of holes by design. Other areas of the foundation are literally bricks and rocks in a crawl space. I can't even describe how messy it is, and how difficult this would be to seal up.

The other issue is animals. I have a dog, all the neighbors have dogs, and there is a farm about 100 yards back in the woods. I would hate for an animal to stumble across a poisoned mouse and consider it a meal

I dont know. Just defeated. I wont have the kids over until some progress gets made

because of same poison concerns I just go with the good old fashioned traps. They work for me.

Good Luck.

I had someone come on last year. My kitty brought a mouse up from the cellar and if there is one there are more. I called a professional who knew to use products that won't hurt a cat.

Make sure all holes are filled as they can get in through a very small opening.

Tips to Remove Mice in House with Pets

  1. Use mouse traps. This is the best way to remove mice from your home. However, to ensure that you eliminate all mice, use several and different traps. Use glue traps, multiple-capture live traps, and bait traps. ...
  2. Use mouse poison safely. Mouse poison is quick and very effective, but it requires a lot of care, especially if you have young children and pets. ...

I've never had a rodent issue but for me it's these damn ants who won't go away. I spray the doors and windows with bug repellant, which lasts a few weeks then I get another swarm of ants. I've read I could leave a bowl of sugar and borax somewhere and it'll genocide the entire colony, but the dog is outside and I don't want him getting it. Not sure how to more permanently remove them otherwise. But by fall/winter they should be less prevalent.

I’ve always had good luck with the Terro brand liquid traps. This year was a weird one, as the ants have come back to me a couple times, but never as bad as the first invasion. Even still those liquid traps have always done the trick. Takes a few days

I did have to call for an expert for ants once. That was a new construction home that was in the middle of the development, with constant construction. I’m guessing the ants were there from day 1. We ended up having some poison gel sprayed into the walls. Cost me $400 but that house was ant free for the 2 years after that i was there

I feel ya dude, my house is a million years old and impossible to seal up as well.
The feral cats usually take care of business around here.

Just sucks soo much. Have lost alot of human friends last few years but my dog stings. Its only been 2 days but I keep forgetting hes no longer here. His beds are empty, his chair he sat in empty. No more pitter pats on the floor or his silly face.

I just keep thinking his last moments. He made a groan and gently fell into my moms lap.

His silly tongue sticking out his face. I didnt leave until they took him out the room. Didnt want to leave him by himself.
