Currently on our way back to Nashville. Very cool experience! Long train, about 500 passengers. So long I didn't walk down to get a picture of the engine. Not sure I'll have a chance when we get back since I rode in with some other people.

I love traveling by train. No stress, no mess.

This has been an amazing day.

The train trip was a ton of fun. But while we were doing that, a man from our church was working on my car, to install the new turn signal lever and do an oil change.

When we got back to the house, he said he didn't have enough oil to do the oil change, but he did top off the oil. And installed the turn signal lever.

Oh, and he added washer fluid.

And installed new wiper blades (which were sorely needed)

And washed the car.

Then waxed it with a buffing machine.

Then buffed the headlights so they look like new, no more cloudiness.

:oops::oops::oops:

And he's still going to do a full oil change, AND replace my tail light assembly which has had a missing cover for months. And also do a brake job.

I think flabbergasted pretty much sums up my reaction.

He said "you do a lot for the church, so I'm glad to help you."

I know full well he won't take any money but I'm giving him some anyway!

He said his teenage son helped, and was the one who put in the air freshener "so you may need to drive home with the windows open"

And on the way home, I noticed the new turn signal lever turns itself off automatically, which my old one had stopped doing two years ago lol.

So yeah... what a day.

I am also exhausted and want to sleep for a month. o_O

Almost forgot... the train dropped us off at a mile-long yard sale. I'm not much for yard sales, normally, but it was nice just walking around outside for a few hours.

As we were heading back to the train, I saw a bunch of vinyl albums for sale. Found these two, which will complement my old family Christmas album collection nicely. $1 each.

since my positive Covid test, have been sitting around watching some fun shows on both Hulu and Apple

Hulu, This Guy is hilarious, the Bear terrific, started Murders only in the Building and it`s a ton of fun

On Apple, jumping on the Ben Sasso train late, loads of fun, Loot is a hoot (cheap pun intended) , Morning Show fun too

What moron thought that would be a grand idea to begin with
I'm guessing the intention was for those who utilize Paypal for business but in order for it to pass the legal smell test, they had to make it a blanket policy.

I think this policy is dangerous and targets those of us who use it to purchase things online for an extra layer of security. I use paypal for my etsy purchases as well as my subscription to this place and a few other places.

Per an update from the article posted, it looks like this policy is no longer..

"After this post was published, PayPal released a statement to media outlets insisting that the company will not, in fact, fine users for the dissemination of misinformation: “An AUP notice recently went out in error that included incorrect information. PayPal is not fining people for misinformation and this language was never intended to be inserted in our policy. Our teams are working to correct our policy pages. We’re sorry for the confusion this has caused.” "

Woke up to the news that a very close friend died suddenly.

He was a Bruins season ticket holder and one year he was so angry about a price increase he sent a check and instead of writing Boston Bruins he wrote 'King Jeremy The Wicked. (they still cashed the check)

His wife died of cancer last year and he never recovered from that.
