Ken asleep on the bench as usual, no timeout, no goalie swap, just continue the mediocrity. You would have thought Krawchuk would get the start after Wednesday, but we all know dinosaurs can't adapt, they go extinct.

So, how much can we get for Goyette… because this team isn’t winning anything this year.

Maybe Ken can do a better job next year with different players….

6 goals on 23 shots. Yikes

Worst performance of the season for Vondras by far. Goalie always toughest position in hockey. Needed a couple saves when Sudbury got it close.

RP got bigtime problems with this roster and coaching staff

He brings in Ranger last season. You know the story , local kid, knows the league etc. didn't work. Decides to go the other route this season. Goes outside the league and gets an euro goalie. Whom doesn't know the league and seems to lack experience. It didn't work. Tough spot to be in.

The roster needs work. I watched Toure tonight go back to retrieve a puck. He gets to the puck, doesn't even think , will maybe I have time to take the puck out of the zone or make a clean pass
Nope. Gets the puck in the corner and throws it along the boards where the opponent is waiting. That can't happen as an O/A

On the last pp goal for the Pete's, you have Pharhand out of position as the pass comes from dman to dman and the player tips it in for a goal. Can't happen. Goyette played pk last season. Why isn't he on it.

Coaching - I think Kenny is a good man but this team is not responding under his tutelage.

Re: Goyette and Musty. I expect to see them back in the league next year. Who knows perhaps in a different uniform.

Such a shame really. So much promise. Can things turn for the better, sure, but the month of December is creeping up , and I'm not sure these issues will be solved by trading deadline.

Really hope Krawchuk gets another chance next game, thought he looked good when he played Wednesday in relief and honestly hard to be much worse then Vondras the last few. He's had some shaky starts at well, but really hard for him to get a rhythm going playing once every three weeks.

This season Vondras has 7 games with a SV% of .900 or better and 8 with worse then .900, I'd really expected more consistency from an NHL drafted goalie.

Paps drafted Vondras on name alone, he has not lived up to what he was billled . How many games did his agent negotiate as part of his signing. The team simply deflated after the week goals that were scored. Our biggest problem starts in net and I am afraid we are screwed. Can see Musty moved as he probably wants out. Tonight was the telling point. Paps looked so frustrated after some of the goals especially the one scored with one hand, he just flopped back in his chair arms crossed.

The old saying; If you can’t change your people, change your people. Possibly it’s certain players that need to be moved for the benefit of the team as well as their own. This is an extremely talented group of players but a dysfunctional team. The million dollar question, several year’s running now is WHY? Baffling.

P.S. not specifically referring to Goyette - just veteran players on this team

Team lacks character. No real identify and I blame the coaching staff for some huge errors in their decisions on the leadership group.

For tonight Collins was at fault on the first goal for not clearing the puck and allowed Page to get three four whacks at it. Then on 5th goal how does he allow Melee to creep in behind him. Just terrible. Toure was a mess tonight. Protz struggled and got burned twice causing odd man rushes. DeAngelios not one of his better games. Too many times did we struggle to move the puck out.

Goaltending not good in the Soo and tonight. Shots over his shoulders. Our goalie coach has not helped because this has been a weakness since he has got here. The book is out on him.

Coaching decisions are very much questionable. No time outs, no emotion, players with jump and who are scoring such as Konyen left on the bench with extra attacker did the same on the two maN PP in the Soo. Horrible bench management.

McCallum selfish penalty in the third results in a goal.

If changes are not made by Monday morning then forget it. Season will be meaningless.

4th loss in a row and 5th place and dropping.

McCallum tonight. Goal , assist, penality. On the broadcast it was said he got called after the 3rd cross check. Goal scored. You can't make this stuff up. When will this type of behaviour stop by the Youngman.

I was at game I thought the Wolves put an honest effort yesterday, but goaltending did let the team down. Vondras had a really bad game, he was fighting the game, and can tell his confidence is down. I was wondering why he didn't get pulled, reading the Sudbury Star, Mackenzie wanted to pull him but Krawchuk was not feeling well enough to go in.

One thing I noticed with Vondras is his preparation, he come on to the ice and just hangs on the net before start of period. What he should be doing is go through all his sets and get mentally prepared before the period starts. Wolves goaltending coaches need to in-still that in him, that will get him more prepared for the game.

I would of liked to see more of Coughlin last night, he forechecks well, and draw penalties, but needs to stay out of box.

Villeneuve had few great chances to score close in and misses the net, he needs to work on that part of his game, because he has everything going for him, he needs to start producing.

Must win Sunday to salvage this poor week.
