keep the faith and stay positive, to early to panic. I feel come trade deadline moves will be made to address the team needs.
With the coaching staff in place it will be very hard to get top players to come. I hope Kmac steps down and goes back to being a good Assistant manager.

I think it's a fallacy about attracting top players due to our coaching staff. I remember well Pete's coach Wilson getting so much criticism during last season, and the Pete's were able to make great trades to get players to come to the Pete's. Papineau will be tested this year will see what he does, there is going to be some difficult decisions to be made.

Points in November are worth the same amount as points in March.
yes, still high up in standings, just need to get into the dance. Pete's was 5th seed going into the playoffs. no need to panic but I understand the concern.

Crazy, the team is struggling, and they decide to do something about it. Good on Saginaw

Big trade for Saginaw. Nice OA upgrade for them with A.Christopoulos.

Let's hope Sudbury can do something similar.

It looks like Coughlan escaped additional discipline for his check to the head.

Wolves have scouting staff for that. Many Assistant GM are Directors of Scouting as well, I don't believe Ken Mackenzie had this has his job duites.

Why is everyone so hard on our captain. He as 3 penalty this year. Was Ross and Holmes vocal on the ice when they were captain ?? I don’t remember people on here complaining about them. What about Musty in the first period. I bet he woulld like to forget that period. What about Dvorski does he really look like a 10th nhl pick. Remember they are kids. They still have lots to learn. You can’t just blame 1 player
Actually, it seems any player on the team can be blamed except one that happens to be the captain.
I think he is not a good centre, and should be part of a second scoring line with Delic and Konyen. That is not placing blame. It is stating my opinion of a limited player.
I‘m likely not alone by considering Delic to be our real captain. Wednesday’s game in the Soo should be proof enough. He was the only one that shows up and showed any kind of pride.

Doesn't say much about the players character if they have given up on KMac. One thing is you lose trying and playing up to your potential. But this effort and lack of discipline just tells me some players have no credibility.

WJ
Good point. At times it seems these players are very individual, and likely more concerned about their own stats.

Yes Dvorski looks like a tenth overall and yes Goyette has been underwhelming.

Actually, I’d like to know what he even was doing besides being a hanger on.

Curious as to what his “job duties“ were. Do tell.

I use to majority of ast gms out there regardless of title. there are three off the top of my head that I dont see, but I know that they are more admin types who help manage business operations.

MIssissauga, Kitchener, Kingston, north bay, london and Saginaw all have ast gms who have no scouting title but scout and I’ve seen.

i don’t know anything about the setup in Sudbury, I only know they are one of the exceptions on the ast gms don’t scout or travel vs those that do

Sudbury different set up, Mackenzie would be more Hockey Operations and Mike Taylor Head Scout work.
