I thought Wolves were the better team. And showed character especially in the third but no saves were made on our hand. the shots were 41-24

On the Pete’s side I thought Melee was great. I called it in April we should try getting him. Beck had 0 points 2 shots and -2 tonight in a 7-4 win… Can’t imagine how you guys would bully him after a few games if he comes to play for the Wolves…

I find it funny how McCallum gets ripped for every penalty he takes on here. Kid had a great game. But def cost them a goal there. It happens. But also happens with Musty, Goyette, Villy, and so on. I just think team discipline in general is terrible. I know McCallum has a history of bonehead plays, but this game wasn’t on him. Our Tendy let us down in this one. Very unfortunate. Hopefully better next game

I think there’s gonna be a lot of teams calling on Jonathan Melee. he’s been fantastic for us

And McCoy, offers for those two might be of greater value than OA season to the Petes.
I doubt these players will be traded. If they were the Petes would have to receive a player back in any deal for either of them. They do not have the players on the roster to replace them in the lineup.

It would require a very good offer (which the Petes will consider because their value now is nearly double that of as an OA)

On a different went to buy a Wolves jacket at their store in the shopping centre, what a joke, they don't have any and none coming in. Can anyone suggest where to purchase one? Even their merchandise needs change.

Wolves get much better effort, same result in loss to Petes

Looks like Krawchuk was under the weather

MacKenzie said he had considered making a chance in goal, but his hands were tied as backup Nate Krawchuk, who had performed admirably in relief in the Sault, was the latest to fall victim to an illness that has swept through the Wolves dressing room in the last couple of weeks.

“I really did want to,” MacKenzie admitted. “Krawchuk was good enough to come out tonight, but he has been sick all day. There was just no way he could go in or yes, I would have made a change earlier on.

“I didn’t have a choice tonight, we had to run with the one goaltender and it wasn’t his night, but he’s a good goaltender and he’ll find ways to win games for us.”

Would think in a scenario like this they would try to get Gaulton into town. Had Vondras gotten hurt what would they have done, seems wildly irresponsible. Even having a sick goalie on the bench when they're already being hit by the flu is quite dumb.

Happened to the Petes earlier in the season when Zach Bowen got sick and he was not dressed as well as away from the team and no one else was noticeably unwell.

Seems like a lot of this individual play has gotten worse since the arrival of Dvorsky. Not in any way saying that’s the kid’s fault but maybe it’s a too many big fish in a small pond mentality. Almost seems like there competing with each other instead of against the opponent.

The bad news is that they do not realize the NHL scouts and teams are not going to be happy. These guys need to learn that they're part of a team and need to play a team game.

That is the big difference between in Kingston and Caputi Mann has them playing as a team instead of themselves.

You guys are getting all sorts of ridiculous stuff because the team is losing. 41-24 the shots last game. Where is the individual play ?

4 losses in a row heading into today. While possibly wildly iresponsible to say, maybe at this point it's best that they keep losing. Only way they consider a coaching change at this point.

Let's hope Vondras finds his game. He's had some good ones, but lately not trending well. Teams know to go high on him now. Reminds me of a younger Weeks, but Weeks really found his groove in his OA season. Been impressed with Chucky lately, let him have a few more games and maybe get on a roll. Wolves really need to monitor the goalie situation leading up to the deadline, and if need be Paps can't be afraid to pull the trigger on upgrading the position. In a go for it year, not a position you want to mess around with. Approaching the deadline assess the body of work from the goalies and make a decision. Could be another type Beech/Dahm decision to be made, and must be made if need be.

This is the time of the season where teams start getting better. The regression of this team is probably more about the other teams learning their systems and improving, while the wolves rely on skill only. It’s 100 % coaching, and this will only continue to get worse. The team really looks like it doesn’t have a coach.

Then Papineau/Zulich better do something about it. Not a year you want to waste because you were to cheap to bring in a good coach. I don't care if they're still paying Dunc, that's a hole they dug themselves and Dario should be thinking $$$ from deep playoff run vs. 1st round exit.

Without seeing every game, what is the most pressing need for this team? The team has a lot of draft picks to make a deal. Wondering when they will pull the trigger and what would make the biggest impact? This team on paper seems to be the one that should be all in this year and have the greatest chance at success.

Things they can't trade for, like a coach, and a powerplay system that works.

Maybe the most pressing issue is “the barber shop hair cam” and the “floss cam” and singing sweet Caroline at the end of the game. It looks like Dario is happy with a semi full arena and people buying beers. I don’t think these guys know how to win or even give a shit about it.

It sucks being a wolves fan.
