So predictions on what happens moving forward?

Doesn't sound like the Wolves are very keen on renewing it's lease

I have no problem with his skill set for an associate coaching position. It seems he has been associated with the team for quite a while.
 

Jakub Chromiak is probably not going to the OHL next season, he wants to play a larger role with Trencin. Not surprised considering Nemec stayed and Chromiak is not far behind him in talent.

Luckily for paps only 1 opinion matters and that’s Dario.

Maybe Dario is a nice guy.

Still say he nailed the stillman trade, but failed the Thompson deal

I thought that Holmes, Boudreau, and an immediate 2nd to use on what is hopefully the G of the future was a very good return for Thompson. The wolves desperately needed to get a D at the deadline, and Holmes will likely be part of the top pair for the next 2 years.
It was the best deadline for Papineau yet, imo.

I’m not a fan of Papineau’s drafting either. He really backed himself into a corner this past priority draft by trading his 3rd round pick then taking a home run swing on yet another forward with first of two 2nd round picks.
Luckily there was the gift of Stillman in the 2nd round to net 1st round developmental fee and massive haul at last years deadline.

he had the 1st overall pick and took maybe the 4th best player so far. its not like any of them wouldnt go either. he was very close to taking phanard 1st as well. seems like he gets a pass

Which team do you mainly follow in this league
 
Please tell me the Wolves were in contact with Chromiak, or his agents prior to the import draft.With his past misses in the import draft Papineau must have known he should have done his due diligence to confirm the player's interest in coming to Sudbury.I also can't believe we are not trying to replace the head coach.Papineau must not get a pass on that issue either

i believe the coach and papineau are very close friends. i also know the job was offered to at least 2 individuals before the current coach, perhaps 3.

im around windsor so ive always had an affiliation with them, but have many friends in the league given my coaching background so cheer for their success.

i dont pretend to be an insider, i post what i know and have been correct. you can message the moderator neill if you want some sort of confirmation, or howlman on here, i was sending him info before it happened. i posted on here about the ranger trade before it was done as well.

coached locally in windsor, scouted for a team for a bit, stepped away but still friends with many.

Chomriak not coming to the OHL


Translation:
Defender Jakub Chromiak is not going to the OHL, but remains in Trenčín.

"I would definitely like to win a place in Dukla. I hope I can do it and get high ice time. I would be more in the light in Canada than in Slovakia, but for now I see my path in continuing in Trenčín."
