It just took way too long since first voting it in over 4 years ago. The delays, consultants, court injunctions, city council fighting among each other, then covid really helped the naysayers cause. The final answer will come next week with the new costs being debated at city hall and with them just approving a horrible library/art gallery for over 90 million the costs associated with KED will not be favourable to the taxpayers. Its really unfortunate that the KED cost didn't come out before deciding on the Library/Art Gallery Junction East project maybe things would have been better prioritized with tax paying money. Just a big debacle that makes this city look horrible!!! Remember how fast the Soo build the new Arena at a cost of around 60 million which was largely sponsored with Essar Steel! And if you look at North Bay they already build a new Casino all in the time that Sudbury dragged on with the KED. Shameful!!! I believe North Bay is already approved to build an Indoor athletic complex that will serve many sports associations. Thats called working together and making smart timely decisions for the community.

Sudbury is behind the times. Funny how the Library/Art Gallery getting built, without no push back, but KED was roadblocked from the start.

Well, then the Arts center could have gone in the Southridge Mall... ;)

No arguments on the Arts center, because of location - and those who were proponents of KED were not about to object at that time. Glad to see the Art center... but sure wish KED would have become a reality.

Maybe I should be a scout. It’s not hard work to be making the money they do.

Anyone can be a scout. It’s not rocket science.

By the time most of the players from this draft have a realistic shot at making the Kraken, it might not be an easy line up to crack as a rookie. The Kaken are making a lot of picks, and have a lot of picks in the next couple of drafts as well; and they are high picks. Berniers and Wright will likely be the top 2C for many years.
 
I can see why the Wolves have trouble getting players to report. A joke that Konyen and Delic did not get drafted. You're better off being a mediocre 4th liner on a team like London if you want to get drafted to the NHL.

Hopefully, Delic and Konyen use this as motivation and come back to torch the league.

No reason for Sim and Edward to get picked when Delic and Konyen didn't. London effect, some teams just enjoy thowing away picks.
