I think many NHL teams, pick more college players in later rounds, kids can develop in college and doesn't cost teams money.

Hey sudbury fans, what kind of player is pittsburgh getting in Collins? Thanks in advance

I would say he's more of a stay at home defender, plays physical, as some offensive upside. He really improved in second half of the season, developing nicely.

BC fan coming in peace. I followed Sudbury closely because of a local product named Mitchel Weeks.

Very similar to the Colts, Sudbury has many up and coming players in the '04 & '05 age groups. I was very surprised and disappointed to see Konyen and Delic not drafted. I actually love Delic's game and thought that he might get picked up as early as 2nd/3rd round range. Have you heard why these 2 kids were not chosen?

The only knock that I have seen is that Konyen is not the best skater and Delic is a little small (but plays big).

We're not privy to those conversations as to why. All they can do is come back next season and produce and let the chips fall as they may.
