Sudbury Wolves 2022-23 Season Thread (Part 3)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Nearly perfect 1st road period from the Wolves. Besides the bone head play from Larmand. You can feel the importance of this game from the Wolves
 
Do these announcers know that they can see the call on the OHL site? It’s not a viscous elbow to the temple. In fact it’s a major charging call. Then a game misconduct. Not sure the change from a 2 minute call to a 5. Whatever the case not sure if Larmand was instinctive move as the goalie stepped up to interfere him. Regardless stay away you should know by now that you will get called by the refs for anything because we are the Wolves.

Absolutely. Brutal unlistenable. I think the Wolves guys are out of sync or il be changing. Wolves continue to let teams in the door with absolutely stupid, boneheaded penalties. L’armant deserves whatever he gets. Can’t think of a better player to be without though, if we have to be without somebody.

That penalty and delay seemes to take some wind out their sales. Hopefully they can rev it back up for the second.

Im just listening to the game which is brutal. Are the 4 goals on Brassard good ones or his usual?

Cant remember them all but one was in the slot. Player wasnt picked up. I'll give hum a break on thar one but the lastone shot missed the net he ended up on his back and you how that ends.

Gets himself on trouble when he sprawling over over the damn place

Not saying he should have had them, but DZone break downs. Again open shot from high slot. A week spot for us when we are tight in our end, like we did last night.
 
I don’t wanna seem sexist in anyway but the female announcers is bad. She is correcting her partner all the time and is not accurate with the play x play. I get it, most PxP are homers, but these two are real hard to listen to.

Brassard is having a giant game no matter what happens now. Saved the game in overtime
 
Got a point, but gave Missy 2 points. And Hamilton won. Tomorrow's game against Oshawa is massive. Back to Krawchuk
 
Hats off to KB, he’s been in the shade of late. But he held us in the game throughout the third period and in OT. Maybe for shootouts, we use Chucky…take the point and move on!
 
My head hurts from Listening to these two .

Moving forward change the goalie for the shootout if Brassard is in net.

Wolves coaches can’t be happy with this.

LARMAND took the wind out of the Wolves sails.

Bassard is the worst goalie I’ve ever seen in shootouts. Absolutely sick, flopping all over, it’s child’s play to score. This game was nauseating. A good hockey team ready to win doesn’t blow a three goal lead like that. I suppose they’ll say they were tired if they lose tomorrow. Aside from the first period the team looked just like they did under Duncanson. Brain dead penalty, lose the momentum and play brutal defensively. How many fawking games have we let get away. My stomach is in knots. Not sure why I subject myself to this. Brutal.

Need Goyette to step up tomorrow. Robinson needs to setup tomorrow. Konyen needs to setup!
Robinson always seems like he's run out of gas and getting burnt! On a good he's a 7th dman. Krawchuk back in the net.

Krawchuck is our only hope. The Steelheads were shooting right at the crest in the third.

Larmand needs a kick in the ass. Better plan to use the education package.
