In agreement that Collins was Wolves best player and I really liked Chucky and Robinson as well. We owned the face off dot tonight. Musty and Goyette have had some time off and it showed in DZone. A little cheating going on. Toure also good, his rub out in the corner lead to the stretch pass for Musty’s goal. Overall, a great team win. Defence and discipline wins games!!

Great job Papineau and the scouting staff! Love this team. Praise in public and criticize in private has always been my motto…

Good win not much to add to above. It is nice to confidence in goalie making a save. Let's the rest of team play freer.
Wolves carried play quits a bit in first two periods. We're holding on for dear life. I think momen momentum shifted late in third when degrazia and Larmand put in A great forechecking shift followed by another one from pharand konyen and goyette. Seemed to take a little energy away from sting. Also defended the goalie out well.

Nice win...got sloppy at times. Nate with another great game
Not sure if it was sloppy or credit more to Sarina. They are a talented bunch

This team deserves all the accolades for tonights win. Under coach MacKenzie you can easily see the game plan, the execution and the discipline for not sticking to the game plan. They are buying in and you can't be more happier as a fan. A team that made very little movement of big names at the deadline is paying off. Tinkering is something I have always wanted this team to do. Adding Coughlin and Yearwood brought a missing element and helped solidify this line up. Seeing how you can play the match ups, forecheck is amazing, finishing checks or establishing them early is contagious and having 4 or 5 players able to kill penalties and have the energy to do so because you have the depth and those 4 don't have to be the heavy players as well helps a lot. Couldn't be happier seeing them beat Windsor and now Sarnia the last two Fridays. Now to to take the next two will be massive. Go Wolves Go!

When you look back at DM’s professional career and what made him successful (eventually after a ton of hard work and paying dues) we now have a team full of Minnie (Me) Mack’s. Noticeable improvements on all aspects of D zone play. Always on right side of puck, filling lanes, blocking shots and support all over the ice. When we use to see multiple break aways per game against and so many odd man rushes to count, they have vanished for the most part. Add solid goaltending by Chucky and Big Bressard and forwards buying in to playing a 200ft game = success. PK has been awesome and PP will come. First PP tonight we had good looks and after that the second unit was good. Lastly, Villie is so responsible in his own end for a 16year old. He blocks shots and is great on the draw, he will be a beast in the years to come. I feel league wide he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves but the league will soon find out what Wolves fans already know. Star.

Talk about setting the stage for this weekend. So happy Wolves invested in a quality head coach. What a beauty Derek Mackenzie is. Boys have clearly bought in which says alot about the group. Lots of fun to watch this team right now as we battle for the playoffs. With good goaltending, Wolves will be a tough out in Round 1
Yup. Also if I’m a prospect about to get drafted into the O, I wanna learn from DM and join the great young core..

Could the Wolves pull off another upset of the 67's in the first round??? That outcome for me would not be all that surprising.
I would rather avoid them as much as possible. Keep winning and go for the 5th seed which I think is getting less likely as Mississauga keeps winning and is the hottest team in the east in the last 10 games. In fact they may take over the 4th seed from the Petes soon. Who would have thought the Petes dropping out of the home ice playoff spot for the first round! Sudbury stands a better first round chance vs North Bay and Barrie although none of the top 3 would be easy. But If I had to put them in order of preference it would be Barrie, North Bay then Ottawa unless of course we manage to reach the 5th seed and get the Petes or Mississauga hahaha.

Ottawa just doesn't seem built for the playoffs. North Bay and the Pete's seem to have the talent and size. Barrie maybe but Ottawa just seems to play light.

I like their chances as much as anyone in the West, from what I’ve seen anyway. Looked better than Windsor did. They will be very tough to beat.

Great game for the Wolves. So many beauty defensive plays, almost as satisfying as watching offence. This team is indeed leaps and bounds better defensively, and as I’ve said all season another big difference is they’re getting the saves needed to win close games against good teams.
Hats off to Krawchuck and co.
When the Wolves play like they did last night they are a good hockey team and will not be an easy out. One win away from being .500.

Totally agree about Villy. Cant remember when I’ve ever seen a rookie so committed to playing at both ends of the ice. He and Walton to name a few will be a treat to watch develop.

Not sure I like facing North Bay, think I’d actually prefer Ottawa. North Bay aren’t always bringing their A game but they seem well built for the playoffs. Best case scenario may be a shot a Peterborough or Barrie in the fourth seed if they can finish fifth. By no means a disrespect to the Petes or Colts who have got a good hockey teams. Just a matter of the lesser of two evils.

Dave Cameron coaching and the potent fire power up would give the Wolves fits. They can play tough and have a strong and deep d-core with strong goaltending. North Bay has holes on the backend and only have 3 high end scoring players to shut down. With Ertel out for the year I'd take my chances with them before Ottawa imo.

Still surprised this kid wasn’t playing in Guelph. Just dont get it.
Not to open a can of worms but I wonder if he was like assadourian was here. Was not better than guys just like him in lineup and needed to get ona roster that they fit in better

I've never understood the double review: the refs seem to review it first as their own decision, then they deem it no goal & then the opposing coach wants a second review. What is the difference between the 1st & 2nd review?

Poor judgement by Larmand. At first they said it was on AA. Glad it wasn't. I'll take that trade off. Looks like multiple games for Larmand.

Announcers for Missy unbearable.
Yes they're little to hyped up.
