Definitely been playing well lately. Took a really dumb cross-checking penalty on Friday that showed his bonehead tendencies though. Hopefully, he keeps up this place, if he does they should look to move him at the deadline for a decent return.
One small stat that shocked me when I looked was that Toure actually leads the team in PIMs with 51mins, with Larmand coming in at 43mins BOTH more than double that of 3rd place McCallum who has 26...

McCallum brings more good than bad...not sure I feel the same about Larmand's game.

Besides Musty's record performance, the 13 goals is the most this season by any CHL team this season. But, I am wondering if the team has ever scored 13 goals in a game before.... I remember the odd 10 goal and maybe a few 9 goal games trying to get the 10th... but 13? Anyone?
I believe I found the answer on twitter... from Geoffery Brandow:

: 13 goals - team's most in any competitive game in Internet Era. Most by any OHL team since Guelph's 13 vs. Sarnia, 3/14/14. Quentin Musty - ties team's all-time record for points in a game (7) and falls one short with six assists. 11 multipointers

Wonder how Callum Ritchie is doing in Oshawa??

Practice this afternoon was my first look in over a month. Some observations
-very energetic and everyone engaged. Of course team must be pretty happy after scoring 13
-drills seemed more game like, stressing transition from o to d and vice versa.
-defenceman not just wailing away snapshots. Seemed to be emphasis on getting puck away quickly, on net and low for tips and rebounds
-not much input from assistants. This one anyway was definitely Derek's show. Maccallum seemed to be really listening to everything being said
-Musty really feeling his oats out there
-i know he is not a fave on the board, but I like d Robinson being back. 8f he plays well it helps the team or becomes a more valuable trade chip
-somebody is really working with Chomiak and his skating. His balance edges seem so much better. He made a couple of moves which demonstrated why scouts are high on him

Looking forward to Friday

Going to be an exciting game Friday. Not many seats left. Another statement game against a highly skilled Saginaw team. Misa and Mintyukov are two must see players. Hope the Wolves play a strong 60 minutes full team effort

Did you see Delic on the ice. Any notable returns or absences?

Will be interesting to see if McCullum is given the task to get under the skin of Misa or MIntyukov, will be fun to watch.

Well all the Wolves players need to be on their A game. Saginaw even though lost to North Nay last night they controlled the majority of the play. Every line looked dangerous. Let’s hope the Wolves have a full line up and make a statement game tonight.

If any control, it was the colts 2nd line that controlled the play and Punnet controlling his space.

You must of been watching a totally different game than I was! Saginaw was all over them. Thornton was huge for Barrie and the difference. Wolves better have the full energy on display tonight. Can’t let off the gas at all or they will be in trouble. And yes Ranger needs to be solid and the Wolves must stay out of the penalty box.

It can appear that way when a team goes into a defensive shell to protect a 4-1 then 5-2 lead.
Saginaw can create offence though, no doubt.

great two periods. Blew it in the third, Chromiak and Robinson had a rough third period, not sure on pairing these two. Keep Toure on Defence, need him back there.
