The problem goes much deeper than 1 person. This team is hard on goalies.

That's good if they aren't. That's really good to hear. I never blamed Ranger solely. The defence has been well lets just say not defence for most of the year. Collins who is supposed to be our best D guy struggles every night at times. So I'm not oblivious to what is going on. But getting this guy from the Q doesn't buy time IMO. I'd rather keep Ranger and have him play less and develop Krawchuk more. Rather than deflate the room by dropping a good character guy.

Big win. Pharand goal amazing. I thought Brassard was fine, the goals scored on him tough to stop.

Not bad for his 1st start in a new league. Would of liked him to be tested more 5 on 5 but that will come. Nice team win.

Go back and read your own posts after Friday nights game. Can’t win with this guy” “Always on his stomach”. We took a one year gamble giving up a 4th and it started off very well, but IMO he was over played and although our structure improved with new coaching lowering SOG Joe’s GAA went up. This replacement cost is no picks. No team is giving up starting goaltending before the deadline. It really sucks we got to this and it doesn’t feel good, but at the end of the day Joe needed to be better. He is a pro and a great young man but we need to try to improve…
It’s one game, so let’s not be quick to judge.
Krawchuk needs to see this as a massive opportunity to take the net to prepare for next year.Own it NATE, time to step up kid!!

I agree with you! I think the goals that the Bulldogs scored tonight would have beaten 90% of the goalies in the OHL. I still want to see a lot more Nate Krawchuk in the second half, but at the end of the game, we won and he keep enough goals out of the net and allowed us to that. I wouldn't mind seeing an 18yo D-man come in but if we moved some guys for just picks I'd be ok with that too.
Already 4 of 6 points for the weekend, Im already happy with the results, lets make it a weekend sweep!!

With most of the lower half of our Conference selling off for a re-build, we’d be doing the team a disservice if we didn’t give Nate a fair opportunity to develop. In limited action he’s been good, he’s been here for 4 months now. It’s hard playing behind a vet/pro like Ranger but now I wanna see a total change of attitude. Totally be prepared to fight Bressard for the net. I know Missy sold off, but got some young studs back so it will be a much tougher game tomorrow afternoon.

Hey guys, I was just thinking any possibility of the Wolves carrying four OA’s and rotating Brassard and Ranger while giving Krawchuck the odd start? Maybe give Ranger some OA competition rather than forcing Krawchuk? I’ve seen teams carry four before. Perhaps for awhile anyway as I am in agreement, this goalie has not proven that he’ll be better than Ranger for me based on tknight. I’ll reserve judgement .Of course I wish him the best of luck. Wonder who starts tomorrow? It’s funny because Ranger was always so good against Mississauga.
Teams have to be down to 3-OAs on January 9th.

4 wins in a row is great, keeper going. The next 3 days are important for the remainder of the season and next year’s team. It would be nice to find a talented bottom six F or mean, mobile stay at home D (18 year old). More draft picks would be nice as well.
Find the 18 year olds that are on rebuilding teams and don’t want to be there..there has to be some upset players/parents/agents wanting a new place to play.
