Sudbury Wolves 2022-23 Season Thread (Part 2)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Not necessarily. Sometimes import players are loaned to CHL teams, so their rights still belong to their pro team back home. When they are drafted into the NHL, they are listed as being drafted out of their league back home so their hands are not tied by the NHL/CHL agreement. Rasmus Sandin is an example of this.

And that usually comes with a hefty money transfer.

What I get from this half a season of uncertainty... he's just not good as good as he thinks he is. He's betting on himself. Wish him luck.

papineau initial ask was a 2nd, im not sure it was the kid that was the issue. if the initial ask was reasonable he probably is still in the league.

You think the wolves are going to let him walk for free, rather then taking less then they wanted? Not much logic there.

I believe he also has to pass through waivers to get to the Q. So no other OHL team wanted him at the price of free.

Will be interesting to see if theres any changes to the lineup tonight. Ie: guys sitting out .

Yeah his second game is tonight, but you don’t know how badly I wanted to tell you that he had been traded to London for 3 4ths in 26’ 😁😁

Imagine some sort of Villeneuve package for Beck my goodness. Hoping we don't deal Villeneuve he's gonna be a good one
