A slewfoot is not a review. It's an automatic two-game suspension. If he's not suspended, it's because the OHL determined it was not a slew foot. That's all there is to it.

The slewfoot call on the ice was upheld after several minutes of review. It was determined to be a slew foot that could not be over turned according to the rule.
I believe that is the third slew foot call this season that could not be overturned after viewing replays with zero games added by the league. I did not see one statement that these were determined to not be slew foots, the league obviously just determined these slew foots were not warranting the additional 2-6 games handed out for the more viscous slew foots.

Mania boarded by Arnsby in our end they end up having an odd man rush to the net and score again.
Pharand is hooked and he gets a penalty as well for embellishing.
The North Bay goalie goes cross crease and knocks the net off the post when the Wolves have pressure in their end. He’s done this in almost every game I’ve watched him play this year. It’s a pattern with him.
As for the game itself. Wolves a bit sloppy and Ranger a bit scrambled in his crease area and giving out way too many rebounds. Just need to be square to the shooter. Why does he overplay in his crease.
Wolves need to have a bit of push back on North Bay for their aggressive play.
Let’s hope for a more focused second period. Connect on passes and capitalize on their opportunities. And use their speed.

I disagree. Wolves getting manhandled. Wolves playing soft and not matching the intensity of the bay. Mania soft player, terrible defensively and thinks the game of hockey is to just rush the puck up ice. Mania man handled. Musty gots to stick up for himself. He as well getting man handled. Men against boys tonight. Good on Toure for dropping the gloves.

Yup stick checking, not closing gaps, allowing time and space, not boxing out, and a goalie not able to make a save on relatively easy shots. Flopping and dropping and making it so easy for shooters. Not sure what Ranger is doing but he has not been good since his first month of the season.
But overall tonight the defence and goaltending were just not good.
Bone head play on Villeneuve for coming off the bench. May be suspended for a bit.
We will be lucky to get a point from North Bay this year. They have feasted on us for two seasons already.
As for the deadline I don't think we do anything. Just don't have the assets and I'm not so sure we have any assets to get us something to help this team next year. Holmes, Boudreau, McCallum, Toure, DeGrazia won't get much in a deal IMO.

Kocha Delic deserves to get some attention for the upcoming NHL Draft. I believe he is eligible.

Team needs some leadership and fight, too many veterans way too laid back, seems they are ok with losing.

I wonder why you talk about Mania being soft when Holmes, Anania, Robinson and Collins are worst. I think Collins had 10 turnovers in the first alone. So many coaches behind the bench but defence is not improving and guys look like they don’t even want to be there.

As per North Bay PXP: Walton needs to play more. Does everyone remember how last years team took off and played way better after Deadline? Time for the kids to play…

Yup including Krawchuk. Give him the lions share. We need him next year. As for the rest of the kids drop older D and allow Bishop, Bruce, Walton and Protz to get in games. We have to build for next year. No more gambles on picks either. Using pics on Hage, Savage, Morrow, Gillespie all are to be going US route. Just draft Ontario kids who will come to camp and want to play in the OHL. We need to bank pics to make a splash next year.

Kids who have signed cards and are not playing: Bischop, Bruce, Protz, C. Walton. Krawchuk (2 assist tonight) and no goals in third. DiGi forward. Not as much forward depth…
The teams playoff hopes are slowly dwindling and it may be time for Paps to make some moves just to shake the team up if for nothing else. Teams looking to strengthen their fourth lines or injury insurance could be interested in a few players like Robinson, Holmes, Boudreau. I think Paps waited too long to make any significant moves and now Dario has some big decisions ahead. His ship has been sinking since last season and none of the patches seem to be holding.

You're right. Holmes just as soft and he's a vet. He to me is not a captain. Zero leadership. Soo GM ain't no fool. Papineau took the bait. He and Boudreau has brought very little this season. They other two are not usually soft IMO but did not come to play tonight.
