Need to just ignore dirty12; he's at his happiest when the wolves are suffering so he can wander onto other teams' threads and talk about how much better they are then the Wolves. Save your oxygen for worthwhile conversations.
A bottle of mustard has to have its principals, I can respect that.dirty is ok with me. we're allowed to disagree.![]()
had to ignore him because he was so over the top about going after all my comments, when i called him on it he got snippy and snarky. done with it, its a message board, bigger things in life as we all saw this weekendNeed to just ignore dirty12; he's at his happiest when the wolves are suffering so he can wander onto other teams' threads and talk about how much better they are then the Wolves. Agreed. However, it appears the opposing player was hanging onto Musty's arm (thus the motion) and then Ertel began to fall. Without Ertel holding Musty's arm, I wonder if he would even have fallen...Not sure what replay you watched. The one I did has a crystal clear view of backward arm motion by Musty.
Only need one point of contact under the newer rule
Well not the only one, I posted earlier that I saw a clear slewfoot and I guess we all wait to see what the league thinks. Their decision is really the deciding factor.you seem to be just about the only person who sees it that way. don't know what to say boss.![]()
Can you point me towards the newer definition? The one I quoted and linked from 3 years ago was the newest one I could find. Interested in this newer definition that apparently has been called that way for 4-5 years? Not sure what replay you watched. The one I did has a crystal clear view of backward arm motion by Musty.

Hi again.
Seems the page has been taken down for some reason.
The Knights are checking into it with the family right now. Please stay tuned.

Yeah that newer definition some time before covid 3-4-5 years ago. I can’t really keep track of that. Can you point me towards the newer definition? It's not just that I don't see any intent for leverage; I don't see any leverage. So part 3, the arm on the front is the point of contact with backward motion until the legs of both meet without any real intent for leverage
The 2022-23 rulebook is on the ohl website. The definition looks unchanged from the one previous posted here. I believe it is marginal and see it called on the ice. Musty left leg comes up behind guns right leg just enough to unbalance him. I can certainly see no further discipline being enforced. In Mustys favour I don't think he has been suspended in pastReplying

You don’t need two opposing contacts with motion. So part 3, the arm on the front is the point of contact with backward motion until the legs of both meet without any real intent for leverage, but the replay does show Musty has his arm and leg on the OSH player. I do not see how the slew foot call could be over turned. Reviewed to determine no further discipline for flagrant call; yeah.
What you said AND.....why call it Slewfoot if there's no foot/leg involved? Maybe they should just call it interference. If this incident was called a "slewfoot' then be ready for more fantom calls. I think the ref just wanted to say "slewfoot" in a sentence before the Christmas break. Hope he gets a pair of glasses for Christmas.
Morrow won't sign here. Rumour has it he turned paps down already. Paps was in cornwall watching the world Jr A challenge, hopefully recruiting someone or still trying on Morrow.Hopefully, we play Krawchuk more - I think he is worthy of more ice. That should help Ranger for now, I hope. Perhaps Morrow as per Wolf on a Wire, can come in? Gaulton is losing a big part of the year for development with his injury... so not sure what we could expect from him even next year. I am in agreement with billoink.... we may best be served to find another goalie...
Prices are really high, better to sell some assets I think at this time, as I believe the team will make the playoffs, but seriously - Ottawa is a tall order for any team. So selling may be better than buying. Remember, there are just a 'few' teams ahead of us all considering the same options.
Any word if Musty is suspended?

Shocking I know, given how deadset a certain poster was on here that Musty would be.
Second time this year, maybe the OHL needs to reach out to their refs and explain what a slewfoot actually is.
