In agreement that the jersey is underwhelming - good it's only a 3rd jersey. Most jerseys usually look a bit better once they're actually worn I find - so don't think it'll be too bad.

Who’s excited for the first exhibition game tomorrow night? Maybe the Pete’s leave Mayer back before leaving after the game.

Any word yet on Villeneuve’s injury?

I'm very happy with the depth of talent we've amassed over the past 3 years. The only questionable area for me is at goaltending, and I don't even think it's that bad. Not to sound like a complete homer, but anything less than playing in the Eastern Conference Championship will be a disappointment.

We absolutely need to go for it this year. I wouldn't mind us even using the Walton twins, Konyen and even Pharand as trade bait at the deadline to land the pcs needed to take us over the top.

Man, I wonder if any smart fans in this thread called this happening?

I definitely agree that the Waltons are great potential trade chips. I think Konyen and Pharand on the other hand have more value to the wolves then they would as trade chips.

Yeah, Jackson needs playing time. No space with Collins, Mania, Anania, Toure, Chromiak, Protz etc. That doesn't even account for trades that will happen at some point to make upgrades.

Mania and Collins are still a month out with injuries from what I've read. Anania, Toure are off to NHL rookie tournaments shortly(if not already?). I assume Ryan Pryce and Mason Chitaroni are only around until Anania and Toure are back.

definitely thought he would stick around at least when the injured guys come back. He was one of the better rookie D I've seen since Thompson

why do you need 11 d signed?
1. Rather than invest a 2nd or 3rd pick on D for four years, the wolves selected 3 or 4 from rounds 4-6 or 5-7.

2. Many teams signed too many 2003-05 born upon return from the COVID lock down not really knowing what they had. That was followed by a loaded 2022 draft from which it seems all teams have 5-9 signed (including imports).

A lot of teams have more education packages than they would like to pay, I’m sure.
No team wanted Gilmartin & Sagniuk that Erie just waived through the league?
The Colts must be near 15 signed 2005-06, more forwards than they can possibly play.
The shocker for me is, most believe NB has to sell. The Battalion have one of the best 2003-04 groups, 9 signed 2006 I think, and a full compliment of picks once their 4th OA is moved (though a few are in limbo until February). They should sell to increase the number of future education packages playing jrA & jrB?

Impressive - 9 players going to NHL rookie camps

Delic - Columbus
Collins - Pittsburgh
Anania - Pittsburgh
Goyette - Seattle
Musty - San Jose
Pharand - Chicago
Toure - Ottawa
Vondras - Carolina
Mania - Los Angeles (won't play as he recovers from off-season surgery)

My boy Delic

If we peak into next next NHL draft. Only Villy and perhaps Walton looked to get drafted. Maybe I'm missing others.
