All this funeral talk reminded me this year will be 5 since my brother passed away. Have to visit him in November to talk. Same with my grandparents in Mass. Need to visit and talk to them as well.

Miss that dude every day and I changed when I was laid to rest

I stopped cutting my hair when I stopped traveling due to COVID. I've had it trimmed twice, but otherwise, three years (minus a week) of growth. I've got a five-head (Pops' pronounced widow's peak), but flowing locks!

We have javelinas. Delightful creatures (not); have seen two fairly up close. They are actually members of the peccary family -also known as skunk pigs or razorbacks. They make an alien type, guteral noise.

We have them on the other side of our development, but haven't seen any on our property. They are basically Arizona's answer to the east coast racoon.

I was up all night with back spasms. I haven’t had them in over 20 years & I had forgotten how painful they are.

Don’t have an ice pack so I used 2 frozen pork tenderloins wrapped in a towel. Worked surprisingly well.

Taking it easy today, I have 2 must do items at work to take care of but then back home to rest.

A beloved restaurant, bar, and music venue in Cambridge is saying farewell.

According to a Facebook post from the place, Atwood's Tavern on Cambridge Street is getting ready to shut down permanently, with the post saying the following:

Atwood's Tavern will be closing our doors for the last time on March 31st. We would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who has been a part of our community over the past 16 years. Atwood's wouldn't be Atwood's without all of you. So, if you get the chance, come by in the next month to say farewell....Thanks for all of the good times and memories.

The post hints that a new restaurant/bar could be taking over the space, saying that "This place has been a neighborhood spot and will continue to be....While we don't know yet who will be picking up the mantle, we are confident that they will provide the neighborhood with the community space it deserves."

Atwood's is known for its comfort food, extensive beer list, and wine and cocktail options while also hosting countless local bands and acts over the years.

The address for Atwood's Tavern is 877 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA, 02141. Its website can be found at Atwood's Tavern

Danni's Queer Bar, which would be Boston's "first queer bar for women and non-binary LGBTQ+ community members who feel like we have no place," lists an address of 907 Boylston St. - the former home of the Pour House - in paperwork on file at the Secretary of State's office.

The Pour House and neighboring bars along that stretch of Boylston closed as the pandemic erupted in 2020.

Bob Richards, the only male two-time winner of the Olympic pole vault, who in the 1950s became a hero of American Cold War competition with the Soviet Union and a breakfast-table hero to millions as the first champion on the front of the Wheaties box, died Sunday at his home in Waco, Texas. He was 97.

Back pain sucks. I've had a cervical radiculopathy for 3 months and just finally getting over it. I sincerely sympathize with you.

Thank you. I’m sorry you have back problems too and hope you will have a full recovery.

I’ve had a bad back since I was a teenager. I haven’t had any trouble in over 20 years thanks to walking at the local track. However I sprained my foot a few months ago so I couldn’t go and now my back muscles have lost a lot of strength.
