Trading for a guy to be the backup that wants a trade because he was a backup is not a good move. All it would do is upset the room chemistry. Just need a dependable backup that is capable of playing not spectacular, but solid hockey in case Stu falters for a bit.

Yeah, I think Connor is going through his Yzerman-esque evolution. And he may still win more scoring titles in the future anyway.

He was horrible.
He was statistically worse than Campbell in every measurable metric when Campbell was optioned & the coaching change happened.
Nobody but @iCanada is complaining about his play now.

I wouldn’t trade for him. He makes too much. If he was 50% retained, then maybe.

I just don’t think we should be paying another goalie big dollars. Outside of like 5 guys, they aren’t worth paying.

We should be paying to dump Campbell without taking a bad contract back. And if the cost to dump Campbell is too much, then buy him out.

Every game this comment comes up. He wasn't good, the D was horrible. Coffey fixed so much back there which allowed Stu to breath and not face a billion shots a game. This allowed him to gain confidence and it's all been working. This wasn't just one guy that started to play good, it's been an absolute team effort but mostly Brown deserves the credit

Skinner has kept them in plenty of games including this one. This streak doesn’t happen without Skinner, the Oilers don’t dig out of the hole Campbell dug last year without Skinner, they dont make the playoffs without Skinner this year or last year. But at the end of the day Connor Brown is the truth, hail Satan etc
