Skinner was just sensational tonight and Kane has put together a couple of good games along with McLeod, Foegele and Holloway.

Put McLeod Holloway and Perry together. In the third period, McLeod and Holloway looked good together

Since knob joined he has a 0.924 and a 2.10 GAA.

Only goalies better than him in that span with over 1000 minutes.

Daccord is tied with him at 0.924 and Hellebuyck at a .940 with 1.78 GAA

Skinner has kept them in plenty of games including this one. This streak doesn’t happen without Skinner, the Oilers don’t dig out of the hole Campbell dug last year without Skinner, they dont make the playoffs without Skinner this year or last year. But at the end of the day Connor Brown is the truth, hail Satan etc

I'm not saying Skinner hasn't been great but the whole ok let's go back and see all of the comments about Skinner when he wasn't doing great gets old every game.

I think we all agree, the entire team has been a big part of this but Brown has been the biggest factor!

McDavid took over that game a few times. That goal should have counted IMO.

McDavid was the only forward who created offense at 5v5 throughout the whole game for us. Whole team must be washed up if he wasn't playing well tonight

Go for it although I wasn't 1 of them.
He was horrible.
He was statistically worse than Campbell in every measurable metric when Campbell was optioned & the coaching change happened.
Nobody but @iCanada is complaining about his play now.

his numbers were basically the same as Skinner, the team was garbage in front of him nobody would have had a chance behind that chaos. But most importantly, He’s a local boy sophomore who just saved our bacon with a .917 rookie performance last year. That the absolute scuzz chuds around here were trying to boo him and throw him under the bus after a handful of bad results that were on the whole team was pathetic.

Just trading 1 5M problem for another. And paying up to do it.

You take Skinner + whoever at sub 3M and your overall roster will be way better off.

The 5M problem would still be in the organization playing in AHL.
You make the swap happen if CBJ is interested.. getting rid of Elvis would be easier once he strings together a few wins.

Ugliest two periods in a while.. they stole that one on the back of Skinner. Good to see Kane get going with a goal and I know I've been hard on him but McLeod tonight was the best player on the ice overall.

McLeod has been really good for a really long time.

Agree with everything except I don’t think Connor’s ability has changed, just his mentality. Same thing as Sid when he realized his team around him was good enough.

He’s definitely not as sharp with the puck this year as before. Marriage might have something to do with it too.

Not to get all Soundwave here, but Campbell was a mistake, we should have always gone with a cheap flexible goalie carousel like I said 3 years ago, keep the position fluid in the world of voodoo goaltending. And now people wanna do the whole 5M with term thing AGAIN.

Brown had an assist. He now got enough points he gets his 3 million in bonuses . All joking aside Brown has helped the PK and he will break out and go on a run

Same shit different pile. You could say you could trade Jack after a string of good wins too. Both were almost equally shitty last year. The only difference is CBJ is in a position to play Elvis out of his issues (sorta) and we are not.
