Skinner was just sensational tonight and Kane has put together a couple of good games along with McLeod, Foegele and Holloway.

Not to get all Soundwave here, but Campbell was a mistake, we should have always gone with a cheap flexible goalie carousel like I said 3 years ago, keep the position fluid in the world of voodoo goaltending. And now people wanna do the whole 5M with term thing AGAIN.

Well no it wouldn’t be doing it again. If we paid to dump Soups salary or bought him out then traded for Elvis you would have a point.

Don’t get me wrong getting rid of his salary completely is ideal but the cost will be high.

Sounds like CBJ wouldn’t do the trade anyways.

Yeh Elvis is more expensive. He’s 5.4M(!)

Elvis is one year removed from being an AHLer like Campbell. Throw Campbell behind this defence and he could probably put up a .905 too.

The point is though, both are shitty options. Find a way to ship Campbell and redo the whole Philosophy on goaltending. Copy the same strategy that won the Avs and Knights a Cup.
