Bedard clearly needs good linemates to be effective.

It’s a damn shame we will be waiting for him to MAYBE have decent linemates come his 3rd year in the league. Embarrassing.

Bedard you want some linemates? Best I can do is a guy who shoots no matter what once he gains the zone and a wannabe great value Datsyuk.

This happened last year too. Soda had a good start against TOR, VGS, COL and BOS, he got no goal support and it started to wear on him. This is not an easy team for a goaltender, let alone a young goaltender. But, he seems to be handling it much differently this year. He deserves more help but I don't see it coming with this group. Hawks needs some better players for these young players. Can't blame much on Bedard either, he has nobody to play with

Imagine Hagel on a line with Bedard but I know I’ll be met with we wouldn’t have Bedard if Hagel was on the team at the time.

Not worried about Bedard. There is not a player in the league in a worse spot than him.

Davidson signed two free agents to play with him, and they aren’t.

Luke has decided his job is more important than helping the team, go figure.

Again with the linemates….I don’t get it.

Who were his linemates the first 20-30 games of the season last year when he took the league by storm and was playing at a high level/almost always our most noticeable forward??

Just watch HIM, without looking at who else is out there, something doesn’t look right and I think it’s he himself he should be focusing on, without getting worried about the state of the team or his teammates. He should understand and expect the rebuild process to be tough without much help at first.

I’m being hard on him because his talent level warrants this kind of expectation. Hopefully he gets some solid positive reinforcement and some good advice on how to be mentally tough during this period. He’s gotta fight through it and start playing like he’s capable of. Even as a rookie he was twice the player I’m seeing rn. I know it’s there.

Totally agree. There is so much bullshit hype around him it makes you wonder how much he is believing it. Even as a kid Kane would rise to the occasion of playing in his home town.

And stop making excuses about his frigging linemates FFS. Kane was was playing with Tory Brouwer on line 2 and producing lol.
