I don't see the justification for that. He gets minutes, and had an assist tonight. The lack of goal scoring is one of the big disappointments of the season but I don't see that as a reason to send him down.

It's important to remember that this is Skinner's 2nd full year in the league. Last year's playoff struggles and early season struggles this year included, he was .914% last year and has recovered to a .906% just halfway through this season. He's proving that last season wasn't a fluke. We may very well have a quality starting goaltender drafted and developed by the organization.

I really hope he carries it into the playoffs.

Oilers could play 10mins in this game and win it, and knew it. Right move to load up McDrai as well.

Broadcast sure was trying to talk up Columbus but this is Gaudreau with an AHL team.

Right move to replace Drai with Nuge. Second line instantly went from our worst line to the best line. Was nice to see Drai put in a little bit of effort once he was put out with McDavid.

For sure. His time in Calgary when things got important, you could see the fear and anxiety in his eyes all the time. I know Johnny Contract Year was escaping Calgary rather than following his life long dream of moving slightly closer to home
