Pipe and drape is an event/ convention venue industry term.
Yup

And that's what they "needed" to put on air.

In NYC... the TV capital of the world.

#1 Market... always has & always will.

There's no office, boardroom, lobby etc with an NYR or MSG logo you couldn't hang 4 lights & run some cable for two cams & 2 mics?

I'd be in someone's office tomorrow am everywhere I've worked.

My guess with Fox is hyperextended knee out for a week or so. Not sure he would’ve played another shift if it was worse but well
see.

Chytil may have a wrist issue after that collision with Fast. It was later when he left and I didn’t see anything else. Did anyone notice something?
They said upper body for Chytil and he has peculiarly long arms.

I could be wrong but I think he was still on for the next faceoff with Lindgren
I didn’t see that but if so, that’s encouraging.

The second line has stopped getting results too. It’s all PP anymore. They scrapped together for that Cuylle goal, which is nice, but celebrating it as a “win is a win,” isn’t seeing the forest for the trees. There are some concerning signs that need rectification.
8 and 2 dude. They're not going to light up every team. They gave up little even though they created little and the goalie won it for them.

Take the W.

The way to beat that team is so easy, but instead we constantly try to be cute with it and get hammered. If we played the whole game straight ahead like we played the first half of the 3rd I wouldn't have blood pressure issues.

tell you one thing not sure about the defensive part but I can guarantee you Wheeler or Goodrow would have more points than Kakko if they played 10 games with Zib and Kreider.
Do you know how many points zib and kreider have 5v5?

Kakko will produce more away from a top line. Let him go back to a third line and he’ll get his 35-40 pts. But a top line player he is not. He’s terrified of the middle of the ice. He doesn’t want to be a scorer. Not in this league at least. He’s content being a worker bee
I think he’s trying. I see him consciously trying to be more aggressive. I’d like them to stick with the same lines. Especially if they’re winning. Can give these guys a little more leash.

Again did you watch the game?

No one really did anything 5v5 for either team. That’s how it played out and they were able to score the only goal at ES down their best D and a top 6 forward.
It was really an ugly game. The rangers were a mess due to injuries and frustration with the officials. Carolina was a mess due to being Carolina. Either way, it was a slog of a game and we won it. Truly a ‘a-win-is-a-win’ kind of game. Like doing business with Jabba the Hut.

People won’t like this but he’s the future captain of this team. He still had a long way to go as an overall player but I think he still ends up as a 70-80 point player.
I was just thinking the other day about how this Capt. Laffy talk had evaporated. I’d definitely put this in the “pack a lunch” category.

So I just got home after Arizona Fall League baseball and watched the Ranger highlights (after listening on radio)

Mby heart will be on my mouth until I hear Fox is OK or at least reasonably well I’ve seen seasons ended on plays like that.

Wouldn't be surprised if they charged Henrik $150 for the extra microphone.

Late to the PG thread so sorry if already said…

But what a class act for MSG (or whoever votes) to give Coolie the first stah - kid will never forget the moment. Nor will I as I balled for 3 straight minutes afterwards.
Thought that too. He wasn’t quite the first star but they made him feel like a million bucks.

The rafters await his jersey number …

Wonder if he’ll be a Rangers fan once he retires; I assume he grew up a Bs fan.
Gotta assume he’ll be a rangers fan considering the rangers and he have a real relationship that’s productive and successful. Like, I get growing up as a fan but the bruins haven’t done shit for him. I mean, I have a nice experience at a team’s stadium and I never forget it. Gotta figure Kreider is a ranger for life.

It’s just an opportunistic trip that went bad. It’s like when you’re a kid roughhousing and you ‘accidentally’ trip your buddy. It’s not like Aho went out of his way to hurt Fox but he could have been a pro about it. Fox out himself in a vulnerable position and the guy took his shot. Hopefully it’s just a bruise.
