Exactly how I feel. Losing two of your top three centers really puts the odds against you. I think us, already as shallow as we are, losing those guys puts us at a much bigger disadvantage than Montreal losing Price.
Plus, it will probably continue to bolster confidence in Montreal. The pieces are falling in place for them, just like they were for us when Price fell to injury.

At first I expect one game, now with this news it should be 3. (though I dont agree with the NHLs ridiculous policy of injury effects suspension length). Hes got to get something. Hagelin got 3 games for an "elbow" check. This was 10X worse.

Yeah, I don't get that. Let's have our second line center miss the series from surgery, to have their fourth line winger get suspended.

Get off the ledges fellas. Right now it is the Patches line versus the Rangers. Tololski had one good game and is not going to be a problem going forward. Montreal is a pretty bad team and playing like doodoo. This series is still over.

I said this would happen after game 1 in another thread and got blasted for it. Prust was going to take liberties on the team and there is nobody on this team that can hold him accountable for it. He should be suspended for 4-5 games, but if Stepan really can't go with a cage or face guard, it's a horrible trade off. Rangers need to address toughness in the off season with at least 1 guy who can play the game and keep other players honest.

No, definitely no. Unless AV continues to use it as a checking line, then yes. However last night Richards Hagelin MSL earned the top-line checking assignment against Patches & co. They did a good job. Assuming no Brass or Stepan you have to let Miller center Nash and Kreider imo. Unless they want to go back to giving them the checking line role, then Moore.
I think you have to try Miller on that line. Just always have McD and G on the ice with them at all times.
Try to have Brass back.
