@NYP_Brooksie: Brassard: "I'm playing tomorrow."

Brassgod coming back with a vengeance.

Also, don't let Stepan play while we have a series lead. If we lose on Sunday and he can play after that, fine. But if we do win Sunday, let him rest until we're either at Game 7 or in the SCF.

I still wouldn't rule him out for tomorrow. Getting your wisdom teeth out is surgery too, and many are fully functional the next day. Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I'm hoping that's it.

Yeah, I'm trying to be optimistic too. Other reports saying AV has said he's unlikely for tomorrow. However, looks like pain won't be the real issue, just getting back to normal speed after the surgery. Let's hope Steps is tougher than most of us and can play sooner than later.

If Stepan is cleared to play and can tolerate the pain then he plays. Its the conference finals, none of this "oh we're wining, let's wait until game 7" crap. That's how you blow series.

And putting guys who just surgically fixed their broken jaw into a series right away is how you get infections and really **** up a young players future.

The biggest thing to me are the comments about having better players sitting anyway.

That's where the NHL needs to clean up. Get these guys out of the league.

Prust, Carcillo, Dorsett, Glass, Sestito, Rinaldo etc.

I'm a pro toughness guy, but I think we will be getting there. Some of those guys can play, and play well on your list. Rinaldo, Sestito and Glass are 5 min a night guys, and I think within two years the league won't have anymore of the 5 min a night 4th liners anymore.

Heck most teams don't have them now, but it's happening slowly. The super heavies are almost extinct now.

Back on topic, Stepan played with a broken jaw, I think the challenge will be for him to eat, as having a wired jaw (don't know if it has to stay in place) can get in the way of that.

I expect him to play in game 5. Dude's a warrior. He's our Patrice Bergeron.

Who fills in on the PP? Need that right handed shot for the back door play

I as well. I still find it ridiculous that a 4th line scrub, premeditated an attack that took out our #1 center, and only gets 2 games. Whats worse is he even eluded to the fact that there would be retribution!

I must've missed him saying this. Does anyone have a source of a Prust quote regarding retribution?

What about the guys who take two handed baseball swings like Subban did numerous times ?

I really hope McIlrath is on our third pair next year. I am tired of guys like Dorsett being our resident punching bag. I'd love to see him destroy Prust.

Well the post was deleted, but I think it was something like. "Lollol #1 goaltender in the world:laugh:. He was pulled. If he was injured, they would have parked his sorry ass on the bench right away".

Either way I do apologize for calling you out. Whatever you posted on that board has no relevance here and I shouldn't have posted what I did.

Apology accepted, no harm done! :cheers:

I believe this is more accurate to what i posted;
"If Price was injured, he would have been in the locker room getting treatment. Not park his sorry ass on the bench."

When i found out that he was injured i went back and said it was unfortunate that he was injured and that he is a young top 10 goalie with a bright future.

And the #1 goaltender remark was a respons to a Hab fan discussing the 4th goal.

On-Topic; i recall there was a islanders fan predicting they would insert a plate to fix the jaw and that Stepan would be ok to play with a protective helmet. From his post he sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

The Rangers need to end these punks' season in their own building on Tuesday and shut up their annoying fans.
