Not a Montreal fan. But I live close enough to the city that was hoping they'd win the series. That being said, I was so pissed at both 1) Prust's hit and 2) the sanctimonious reaction from Montreal fans trying to justify it, that I'm done.
I'm all Rangers in this. And I hope to heck to see the Rangers beat the shnit out of them a la Ottawa's line brawl with them in the playoffs last year.

I thought Weaver on Brassard deserved a penalty and so did Carpiniello. I still do, so that means our top 2 centers went out to pretty much the exact same hit.
For the record, in his last season I thought Prust sucked, just getting into pointless fights to be some kind of cult hero. And it worked. Hope Habs fans are able to take time out rrom their relentless booing to realize they are paying to carry that clown.

On the topic of missing the call - exact same thing happened with Seabrook and Backes. No initial call. Backes down, video replay goes up and Seabrook gets 5 and a game.

Steps is a ****ing trooper and if the Rangers win this series I can see him coming back in the Finals.
But losing our top center makes the finals a much murkier subject.
If Prust isn't suspended for a late hit, on one of our franchise players, with clear intent to injure, after crying about the Price hit all week, i'll lose my mind.
I'll join. Our ROI would be fiscally 0 but the best ROI is the one that returns the investor the most happiness. In this case, I think it may bring me the most pleasure from a Rangers game, ever.

This is one of the reasons, the NHL is an absolute joke. I guess PK should watch out in open ice when he has his head down trying one of his lame end to ends that don't work and gets blindsided in the "chest".
