It's funny cause deep down we all know the Habs are winners either way. They could care less if a fourth liner gets suspended especially after taking out our first line center. Even before game 3 most fans wanted prust scratched in favor of Bournival anyway

You're absolutely right, but I don't want that piece of **** on the ice where he can then go after any of our other players.

I was worried that might happen. Kreider is too imposing for most guys on the Habs. I never worried that they'd go after him.

I'm 100% disgusted. And, AND we lose Carcillo. Dorsset is gonna have to bring the noise. I can't see AV bringing up whatever career goon we have in Hartford when the stakes are so high.

Looking forward to completely dominating your team like they did last night and finishing off this series in front of the classless fans in Montreal.

I was thinking the same thing. Eliminating them in front of their own fans is more satisfying

Again, I don't think that's how it works after surgery.

With a jaw injury, a broken jaw could induce serious infection. The pain must have also been pretty unbearable.

After surgery, the pain and the risk of infection are still there. He's gonna need some mandatory time to let the area heal. And there is really no localized anesthetic that can help ease his pain. He'll have to play through the pain and on Sunday it may really just be too much for him to handle.

I'd guess game 2-3 in the SCF if we make it that far.

Exactly what I said earlier - if this is any sort of fracture, the safest thing for him to do is not play for at the very least 2 weeks.

They said they were going to do it. At first we were led to believe it would be Lundqvist.

What Prust did is so upsetting on so many levels. He targeted a former teammate, a guy he saw come up as a rookie that he played a couple of seasons with knowing that Steps isn't a very physical player and wouldn't retaliate. Very cold on his part.

If this is the case and Prust and the Habs had a beef with anyone it should have been Krieder. Instead of going after Krieder, Prust targets a smaller player. Very cold on Prust's part. I hope he get's 5 games.

All the good things Prust did for us in a Ranger uniform just went right out the window. He won't be getting a standing O at MSG anytime soon as a retired returning player in between stoppages of play during a game.

I'm sure he knows if he tried that with Kreider he would probably bounce off like a ping pong ball.

Forgot he had to get surgery.

Yea he will be out for awhile. Jaw/mouth area is prime area for infection. You dont want to do much if you have any recent surgery there

LOLing at Habs fans who think Prust's hit evens out the "dirty play."

The only similar thing between the two injuries in this series is that after slamming Kreider's skate, Emelin's stick almost broke like Step's jaw.

Get the **** out of here.

Actually Prust knocked Kreider down in front of the benches last night. I don't think there's a video anywhere, though.

Eh, well, Kreider was hunched over reaching and about to go for a change. He put himself in a pretty bad position, but still he just kind of fell over. Didnt get leveled

The dirty stuff is all from your team.

Funny how all we heard for days is how dirty of a player Kreider was for taking out Price, when there was NEVER any clear evidence or indication that was the case, and when the replay shows Emelin whacking Kreider so hard his stick flexed into the shape of a J.

But in the case of Prust hitting Steps the video shows Prust lining him up and Habs fans will say it wasn't a dirty play that Prust was playing the puck. ***** please!

Lot's of added insults to injury in last nights game.

So disappointed that this crap came from Prust…. Heart n soul of us for a couple of years. Kinda like finding it was a family member who stole from you…… Don’t really care about what happens to him with the NHL. Time to just suck it up, give some payback when it presents its self within the rules.. Many opportunities have come out of injuries…. Screw the ref’s, but it’s gone both ways for us during the year. “THERE’S ONLY IN GOAL†Let’s win the next two…..

Oh I agree. Kreids has 3 inches and like 35lbs on Prust. He's not easily knocked down if he's expecting to get hit.

if stepan is tough and the injury isn't that serious, he'll rock a college helmet and be on the ice on sunday, AND will score a GWG. BOOK IT.

They conveniently forget how they took Brassard out in the beginning of game one.

Sadly, there is literally no way Stepan plays game 4.No dr in their right mind would clear him for any type of contact after having the jaw repaired

Refs had an entire week of Prust and Therrien crying about Price and how Kreider did it intentionally to prepare for retribution, yet here we are. Steps has a broken jaw with no penalty on the ice and Prust might not get suspended.

I also heard how, when asked about the injury to Stepan, Therrien is again talking about Kreider sliding into Price. So it IS an intentional huntdown of a player; although it isn't Kreider, because Prust is too small and slow to catch him.

if step can't play for the rest of this round i love to see these lines

Nash-Miller/brassgod-Krieder
MSL-Rich-Hags
Poo-Brassgod/miller-Zucc
Boyle-Moore-Dorrset

Yeah, it's clearly intentional and Therrien has been advocating for it all week.

Absolutely despicable.
