That's fine, I can wait, in reality you have two picks so that's an 8 hour clock, as long as you don't pick my guy ;)

I'm proud to select: Alexander Polunin, F, RUS and Jens Lööke, F, SWE.

Hope I didnt steal yours Khabby:laugh:

Seems like we are really good in terms of time. Maybe we could do one more round of draft? Maybe for 1 more defenseman? To make it 6 forwards and 4 defenseman? What do you think about it, guys?

no, once you define the roster parameters for the draft you shouldn't change it.

By doing the same format every year, it allows us to compare pool stats to previous seasons. Plus as C4G mentioned, it's best not to change the parameters once you set them.

Frankly, I'm having problems coming up with three solid dmen. Don't make me go hunting for another!

Alright, it's fine. It is true that it's better to have same format over the years. Almost forgot that this is 4th annual WJC draft. :) Which is, by the way, really great Statsy. :)

but you stole mine :(

Haha, I was going to pick Dermott before Saarela, But went with the gamble that AwesomePanthers wouldn't take him since he still needed two forwards.

And the wait help to ensure he wasn't cut tonight.

Gotta get those Leafs players picked up before other fellow Leaf fans take them on me ;)

I hear you there! This year has got to be the worst for drafting dmen for this pool haha

That's why I concentrated more on forwards this year. Sure, there are a couple of potential point producers on the blueline, but not many, so it doesn't really matter that much when you get to this big group of long shots at the end. For the last two dmen spots I need to fill, I might just grab the first two random pedestrians that walk by the arena on game day.

Pretty much, Thats why left them till last. See who doesnt get cut haha

Alright boys, get ready for a draft pick avalanche!

Canada4Gold has turned in to bed, but left me a list.

C4G will take Erik Cernak at 71

I will take Charlie McAvoy at 72

I will take Damir Sharipzyanov at 73

C4G will take MacKenzie Blackwood at 74

Sami Niku, Finland.

The D is atrocious this year, but I can't not have a finnish player on my squad since they have a good team this year.
