Get the Targeting perk, worked wonders for me. You need to get the enemy ship in your sights and it locks on, hit the button and it zooms in on the ship and you can shoot individual parts while slowing down time like VATS from Fallout. The first ship is junk though. Once you get a new one, it's worth it to invest in better weapons and shields. Good luck!Any tips for space fights? I’m sometimes just fleeing them at this point I’m getting melted so hard. I did just get a few new ships so maybe the original ship I still had was the issue.
It’s just the first ship. It’s terrible. It’s pretty easy once you get a better ship and they’re not hard to come by as you progress.Any tips for space fights? You keep Barrett's name out of your f***ing mouth! That man is a true friend and would do no such thing! There's a reason why you got the ship for free. Its awfulness in combat and your lack of piloting skills will quickly get you both blown to pieces and then Barrett will collect the insurance.
If you like him so much, you should romance him.You keep Barrett's name out of your f***ing mouth! That man is a true friend and would do no such thing!
I turned down those options. Bromance>romance. If you like him so much, you should romance him.
Starfield - How To Romance Barrett
Help Barrett defend his former partner in his Breach of Contract mission, then romance him yourself.www.gamespot.com
Was super sick so stayed home from work and no-lifed the entire Ryujin quest line. A lot of fun, honestly.
I also got a moddified magshot which seems like a must - completely leveled me up in combat.
They have radiant quests to do after you’re done on the mission boards, but every faction has a main set of missions. I do miss Morrowind/Oblivion style factions where you’re being sent to different bosses for misc tasks as you rank up until a main narrative kicks in, but the way they did it here still works.I'm partway thru the Ryujin quest, and was wondering if the faction quests were never ending like the radiant quests from fallout 4, glad to hear there is a definitive ending for them, I hated being in the middle of something only for a settlement to be under attack
Thank you. Which button? Never saw the option for this clearly haha.Get the Targeting perk, worked wonders for me. Doing this one now and really enjoying it. I also loved the Freestar ranger ones. Got some great rewards from it.This Vanguard quest line is really good, highly recommended
Complete the mantis quest line (you get it by finding the “secret outpost!” note on a dead enemy).Any tips for space fights? I’m sometimes just fleeing them at this point I’m getting melted so hard. I did just get a few new ships so maybe the original ship I still had was the issue.

Or better yet, complete the freestar rangers quest line.
I played this for a couple hours this morning. It's far more boring than I expected. This is the worst game I've played in years.
Bethesda makes one game so how does it keeps getting worse? It took them six years to develop this garbage. I'm not disappointed as I expected it to be terrible, but damn.
When I say that they make one game, I'm saying that the games they make are all fundamentally the same. They're not literally the same, but they are so similar that they are fundamentally the same game. These sentences don’t coherently fit. You’re gonna have to pick a lane.
Was the miner Lin telling you to burn the bodies in the beginning the tipping point? When I say that they make one game, I'm saying that the games they make are all fundamentally the same. They're not literally the same, but they are so similar that they are fundamentally the same game.
I played the game for a 2-3 hours. If the game hasn't grabbed me then why the hell would I waste my time playing more of it? I don't care whether a game "gets good after 10 hours" or whatever stupid nonsense you may believe. A good game is good right away. I've played and seen enough of Starfield to know that the issues I have with the game won't get any better (awful UI, bad gunplay, shit writing, lifeless game world).
You cannot accurately judge a game like Starfield in 2-3 hours so forgive others for not taking what you say seriously. When I say that they make one game, I'm saying that the games they make are all fundamentally the same. In 2-3 hours you cannot possibly know there is bad gun play, or the writing is bad or a "lifeless" game world. The game has barely let you do anything in that time frame. Seems to me you haven't actually played the game, and are just taking other peoples opinions and using them as your own.
