I'm a sucker for Bethesda open world games, love space, this is right up my alley. This month has gone by so slow waiting for August 31. 10 more days, can't get here soon enough.
I was in your boat until I pulled the trigger on BG3 a couple weeks ago. Thank god that game drew me in enough to keep my busy until after launch. But I already warned my fiance that I am going to be a ghost for like a month when I finally do get it. Bethesda open-world games are all over my favorite games of all time. And I love space stuff. Skyrim in space is basically my idea of heaven. I don't even care about the silly bugs, as long as it delivers on the exploration/looting/base building elements I'll be happier than a pig in shit. The FOMO is so strong I may say "f*** it" and get the premium edition to play it early lol. At least you also get the first dlc with it so it's not like you're paying 30 extra just for five days of early access. It's funny how I went from "I'll get GP for a month to see how it is before committing" to "f*** it, take my money"
Finished the pre-install download yesterday and got the Seagate 1 TB memory card in mail today, went from having 14,9 gigs of free space to over 900.
Yes you can.Eh, you can't play X/S games off the external card, which is a pain in the rear end. But yes, it's nice to have that extra space.
The only storage upgrade that will let you store (and play) next-gen Xbox Series X|S games while also improving the overall performance of thousands of original titles across Original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One
I just pre-loaded it on my PC today. No point in buying it for me since when I built my PC last year one of the costs I factored in was 3 years of Xbox Gold Live to convert to Game Pass Ultimate (had a PS5, so getting to Xbox exclusives I hadn't touched also incentivized it). Hopefully, this is the start of good stream of games for the remaining 27 months of Gamepass. The FOMO is so strong I may say "f*** it" and get the premium edition to play it early lol. Same. Fallout style in space is pretty much an exact game I’d love so I’m pretty disappointed. Might have to pickup an Xbox maybe in a year or so if the hype is real.Damn. I don't know much about games anymore, but I was really intrigued by this one, but it's not coming to PS5. Booooo!
Eight hours playing Starfieldshows why – the game is the team’s most polished, ambitious in scope and original in tone in recent memory.
This is about the most anyone has been able to say about the game.
This reads like erotic fanfic lol dude is hitting on Todd Howard for half the article.Good interview here with British GQ. Some small spoilers if people want a heads up.

I did skip through a lot of that stuff. I don’t need to read that, just care about the game. This reads like erotic fanfic lol dude is hitting on Todd Howard for half the article.
I am super curious about the lore and story - they're being extremely hush about most of that, and I hope it's not because it's incoherent or subpar. With the Elder Scrolls most of the writers and designers who made that world special no longer work for BGS (although they still have Kuhlmann) like Ted Peterson, Michael Kirkbride, Ken Rolston etc. With Fallout they already had a world made to play around with (and imo they messed it up/didn't understand it.) Here they have something they made completely from scratch.I did skip through a lot of that stuff. I don’t need to read that, just care about the game.
I read somewhere that the first big city you get to has a museum that will give out a good chunk of lore, which I think is a cool way to go about it instead of finding history books randomly.
