That was quite the episode. The tension was insane . Oh Syril, I've known a dozen guys just like you and the ending is always the same.

This show is just getting better and better. Every week they find a new way to deliver.

We all know Syril is going to turn on Mon Mothma at some point, but I think their daughter is going to be involved as well. They’ve taken time to show us the strains in Mothmas family life for a reason.

Seems pretty clear now that Mothma and Perrin were an arranged marriage between "families" and have been together a long time. Going through the motion wouldn't be far off.

Not sure if it was arranged, or simply their custom to marry young. Mothma did seem to enjoy thinking back on him as the "Academy Firebrand" in his teenage years.

Really love to see a big Disney budget put to good use. The prison setting was very cool. I liked that it wasn't an overly threatening dank dark grungy place. Interesting methods of control and compliance. Everything in a row very ordered with lines that indicate that and lights that indicate this. The chosen few inmates serving as another system of control added another dimension as well. Seems like something a data driven Empire department of social behaviour would come up with. Luther's character is definitely coming along nicely, the dialogue between him and Sol Guererra I think was some of the show's best so far.

The show turned into Squid Game this week. Next week, Cassian might be licking candy and playing marbles.

Clearly there are issues between them. Still not sure what Perrin job or title is. Senatorial arm candy? Since the start, I always got the the impression that he's the man she married, but Kolma [the banker] is the one she knows she should've married.

Curious how he breaks out of prison.
My guess Sybil inadvertently facilitates after tracking him down and/or (get it?) Andy Serkis gets his sentence bumped and helps out. Mentioning how short time he was felt a little Chekov’s Gunny to me.

They showed us the other prisoners signalling back-and-forth using sign language in the tunnels for a reason. My guess is that will come into play in his escape from the prison.

Only a few more minutes until we potentially find out tho.

Syril is spiraling. At this point he's going to be involved in Dedra's undoing. Some part of me is still trying to root for him to pull his shit together, but that's not where his arc is heading.

Wow I forgot this was star wars and was on the edge of my seat. The Empire is villainous and actually terribly menacing. This is the best Star Wars content since Empire

I love how this show is potraying the Empire. Other than RO, and a good number of the Legends EU, none of the other movies or shows have done a great job at portraying the Empire as a competent, serious, evil threat.

I look forward to the shit storm when they realize they had Andor in custody all along.

The other shoe is Cassian hasn’t rolled over on Luther to save his own ass.
