For me, we are at a B- currently. There are minor things to nit-pick at with both deals, but overall each of the 2 deals made were good. To get up to an A- for me, Raftis needs to move another player.
I don't mind the Lalonde deal. The second half of the season might be rough, and if we are stuck between Miller and Tegelaar as options we might end up destroying the confidence of one or both. Lalonde is a fine stopgap this year. Plus, without getting Lalonde back in return, I doubt there was a deal to be made for Schenkel. This way is definitely better than keeping Schenkel.
There is no rush to get Tegelaar into OHL games. Let our prospects continue to develop at a lower level where they will get the Lion's share of the games. We don't even know for sure that Tegelaar is going to be the backup. Let them continue to develop and then next training camp make that decision.
