tough question.

vader will be the 5th centreman so probably him and maybe one of Kostov or Fantino? i was skeptical of Fantino's skating but really like what he's brought this year. seems to be a more confident player. and i really like Vaders motor (and name)

tough decisions need to be made and soon lol.
Fantino worked his butt off last night and he obviously earned a shot in the SO...I can't see him going anywhere soon..sucks having too many quality players haha

Agreed. he deserved that chance in the shoot out. his shot is above average and he's working harder this year. i've definitely changed my tune about him.

Quality players brings us the extra draft picks to compete at deadline
Quality players aren't bringing us many extra draft picks. Good was waived and now I assume so too is Van De Ven as he no longer appears on the roster.

You guys are in a good position this year and down the road with your recent draft picks Martin and Hayes. SSM dynasty incoming?

i think we knew what we were getting with martin, but hayes is really really good too. i'm almost positive everyone in the soo was a little concerend with a 2nd round pick used but even if he doesn't keep this pace, the skills are undeniable. add Hunter solomon and keegan gillen from this draft and the future is bright in Hound town

I will sleep a little better at night once Keegan Gillen is signed (hopefully next year). I have no knowledge about his situation, but just being an unsigned US born player who might be an impact player in this league makes me nervous. We do not have a great track record getting these players to commit.

Good, but far too early to tell if they will be great.

Granted, but the ones who haven't committed in the last 5 or 6 years are ones that didn't even attend orientation camp. He was here and doing well. As a canadian kid and previous teammate of hayes, hopefully he will commit

Start of a 3-day roadtrip today against three of the lower teams in the West....should be a cake walk for some pts unless the boys get too cocky
There was a cake walk tonight just not for the team u expected... :)

I was impressed in the latter half of the first by u guys but other than that could definitely tell it was a lousy effort, especially in net. Puck movement looked great when on. Sure next time we meet u guys will flip the script lol. GL rest of the way.

Wow, what a lousy effort. Goaltending, to put it politely, was sub-par. Gibson - 1G, 2A - the only bright spot.
I'll echo that, Gibson was great again. I thought we limited chances in the first and goaltending really let us down.

Due to the early deficit, Coach Dean was forced to open things up and it didn't really work in our favour. It seemed like we didn't really have the legs to play that kind of game. Credit to Sarnia using their speed and skill in the last 2 periods.

It's probably a different game if Schenkel has a decent start, as we seemed to have a good gameplan in the first and got the better chances.
