Big goals there! This team is really showing what they are made out of, missing several of their best players.

Fortunately, we still have our best player on the blueline and some of the young forwards have really stepped up.

Really weak call on Evans that should have been diving, but our aforementioned best player scores another shorty. Very nice.

Lots of credit to go around tonight:

- 13 different point getters on 6 goals. A nice team effort with 4 big players out.
- Congrats to Vader for his first goal. Good game all around.
- Kostov continues to be great. He really disrupts things on the PK.
- Fantino had his best game as a Greyhound. He fits nicely next to Martin and Hayes.
- Clattenburg with great effort all game. He's really become a complete player this season.
- Cloutier also showed great effort all night and was rewarded.
- Schenkel was good enough tonight. We don't need game stealing efforts every night, just consistently good outings.
- Kudryavtsev shut down Sop all night and proved once again that not only is he our best player, but he might be the best defensive player in the league.
- Virgilio with a really good defensive effort as well. He's going to be an all around star as soon as next year. If we make him available, we have first dibs at any deadline player that we desire.

Clattenburg doing yeoman work on that 3rd period pk shift. 3 blocked shots and jumped right up ready to block a fourth.

My favorite quote of the year ( I guess it was of last year but whatever )

“ they indicated one of the factors was the perspective strength of the team next year “

I bet the Hounds have that quote on the wall in the dressing room.
