Tuned in after the Rangers game, entertaining OT and SO. This will be a fun matchup to watch this year.
Shootout with only 1 scorer … I would say soVery even match
Branttford not top foureastern conference teams looking to make a run .
looking at there rosters :
ottawa, sudbury, north bay, brantford look like the ones to be top 4
2 Northern teams, sudbury & north bay have strong teams for sure.
North Bay is also not a top four team. Other than Ty Nelson and Dom DiVincentiis most of the team has graduated. They do not have much offence returning at forward. They only two returning forwards who scored 20 plus goals last year. They were Dayln Wakely with 30 and Anthony Romani with 23. Their two overage forwards Liam Arnsby and Justin Ertel combined for 26 goals. Their other returning forwards combined for 32 goals. They have lost half of their defence. They are middle of the pack at best if not bottom six in the conference.Branttford not top four
Probably toms' best game this year but still gets beat regularly and a ton of brain farts each game. Will definitely need an upgrade if we decide to go for it.Great game tonight. I was really upset at that phantom diving call, but they were able to overcome adversity and win the game.
I didn't expect to say this before the game, but Connor Toms put together a nice defensive effort with a pair of key plays in the first on odd man rushes. If they are showcasing him for a trade then this was a success.
Kirill Kudryavtsev was out of this world defensively tonight. I'm not sure if London even got a shot while he was on the ice. This guy just keeps improving and Vancouver has one hell of a player on their hands.
What more can be said about Tavis Hayes? The guy is an absolute phenom. I can't remember the last time a rookie came in and played like this. Nice pick by Raftis, the kind that we need to see more of.
Schenkel came up big in overtime and the shootout, but after having a rather easy time of it in regulation, I think it’s a stretch to call him the player of the game. I sat in his end for 2 periods and there wasn't a whole lot.It was a very even game.
Greyhounds didn't have much trouble with beating London's forecheck after the first few minutes of the game. After that the Greyhounds were exiting the zone pretty cleanly and getting into London's with relative ease. London didn't panic though and played very structured patient defense in their own zone. Very good body position and active sticks.
Most of London's offense was counter attacks off turnovers, which the hounds limited for the most part. Also the powerplay, of which they fortunately only had one.
As was mentioned, London came out with the trap in the third. I was frankly surprised they didn't change things up after the first. The trap was effective for about half a period until the Hounds started tilting the ice and pressing for the equalizer.
The Hounds played pretty well defensively. A few missed assignments but not too many.
Karki is a beauty, really calms things down. Was really impressed by Allard tonight. Strong, fast, great vision. Hayes and Cloutier were difference makers out there. But Schenkel was my player of the game. That performance should be enough to call off the carrion birds. At leaat for now.
Dickinson is a stud. Really liked McCue's game. In OT, Bonk completely took over the game. Wilmore was very steady. And I also found myself noticing Jacob Julien for the right reasons.
Boys looked good tonight, great match up. Very entertaining game to watch.Great game tonight. I was really upset at that phantom diving call, but they were able to overcome adversity and win the game.

Can't wait to see this Soo team conti ue to gel and see where we end up, I think we have a legitimate shot to spoil Saginaws party in May.
Christopher Brown with a beautiful feed to Travis Hayes
Brown no doubt is gifted offensively. Unfortunately he rarely get an opportunity to show it when he is out there because he shies away from any kind of contact. It drives me crazy.Brown came in clutch with that slick feed, now we just need Martin back in the lineup

The Hounds continued to pare their roster on Wednesday, releasing centre Dustin Good.
The Conestoga, Ont., product was taken in the first round of the 2022 Under-18 draft and saw action in 12 games last season.
The Soo’s roster now stands at 25, including injured centre Brady Martin (lower body) who missed his second straight game on Wednesday. The Hounds say Martin remains week-to-week.
Do we still need to pare our team down more players? Clattenburg will no doubt be a regular in the lineup once he returns as will Martin so there's two current players in the lineup that will see reduced icetime after they come back..Vader being one and I am thinking Kostov the other fringe playerHounds stop London, stay undefeated - Soo Greyhounds
Hounds now head out on a three-game road trip to Sarnia (Friday), Flint (Saturday), Windsor (Monday afternoon)chl.ca
Also, two more games left without Clattenburg.
