I thought you guys said you needed a goalie? he basically won that game for you.
Not a fan of how Charlie played that though, completely out of position and didn't really make much effort to try and stop the puck despite Gibson's heroics, that's the kind of play that needs a 'diving save'Unfortunately for Charlie, he doesn’t get save of the night from the OHL. That goes to Andrew Gibson.

I didn't watch the game only the highlights so okay fairHe made literally about 7 diving saves before this to keep us in the game……. Lmao
He was unbelievable...even on the goal that Mangone scored, he still made 2 amazing saves before that. Not sure if he has that in him every night but it was awesome to watch...I mean I wish he let in 12 but hey, have to appreciate good play when you see it.That's the type of performance we need from our goaltending if we want to win the division. It would be fair to say that Charlie Schenkel was the game's real first star and stole the game from the better team. We're usually on the other end of these games.
Suffered a shoulder injury in the first period on WednesdayWhat happened to D'INTINO?
I don't know that I've seen a better offensive or worse defensive defenseman than Zayne Parekh this season. There's always something happening when he's on the ice. Very exciting to watch.
Agreed on the last point.Gets exposed a ton defensively but makes up for it offensively for sure
Hounds were not first tonight. They were not first on the puck, lost every battle possible, over thinking every shot possible.
The no goal call was a joke, in my opinion, as Haight had cross checked Martin into the position he was in.
agreed.I couldn’t help but notice they removed the John Vanbiesbrouck banner FINALLY.. thank you Soo Greyhounds organization
Well, against Barrie tonight it should be a different story. When's the last time we got a powerplay goal? Seems like forever
Nothing really has changed in my opinion. Glad they got the split with the Spirit. One thing that I noticed more so in the first game, was that they could use another veteran centre. Brown was being sheltered, especially on the road. Saginaw sure plays Hache and Dionicio a ton. Seemed like they never left the ice. Hounds PP has been awful lately. Seems stagnant with very little movement. Might be time to try something new there. So, any updated opinions on what the Soo should be doing come deadline time? I watched very little of these 2 games so wondering what others are thinking.
