Looking forward to a home and home with Saginaw. Saginaw on a 10 games win streak. Very impressive stuff. Don't want to take anything away from that streak as it's very difficult to do in Junior hockey, but to give it context these are the teams they beat in the last 10 games:

Windsor x2
Niagara x2
Sarnia x2
Erie
Flint x2
* Mississauga

* only team over .500
To give it context Soo plays all those teams as well.:)

I was looking at this as well and was too scared to bring it up without it seeming like I was diminishing from their streak. Like you said, hard to do, but not the hardest of schedules recently. Good test with the home and home coming up. Then Saginaw has London for 2 after that.

London has the same record as Saginaw in a better division and they are 10 spots apart. That perplexes me.

The Western Conference has been better than the East every year of my life (not an exaggeration, a real stat) so the top 4 being in the West isn't particularly surprising. The West is 11 games over .500 in intra-conference play so far this year. Last year was 8 over, which was the least difference we have seen in a long time. It's been over 100 several times.

Oh for sure. Looked at that November schedule and knew we were due for a bump. Still wasn't expecting to win all ten. Usually there's an off night in there once or twice. It was more important that they got out of their funk and built some confidence. And to be fair, we have also beat London and Kitchener this year.

I'm not going to take anything away from Saggy's streak. It will make it that much sweeter to be the team that ends it. ;)

However much we are anticipating tonight's game, I can almost guarantee we will be anticipating Friday's rematch more.

Pregame show with Dean, "We are going to continue rotating between Brodie and Evans, both are doing such a good job."

That's the type of performance we need from our goaltending if we want to win the division. It would be fair to say that Charlie Schenkel was the game's real first star and stole the game from the better team. We're usually on the other end of these games.
